How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast wasn't what I expected. Very basic and a lot of things were not fresh. Also, there was only one person working in the breakfast room, he was checking who was coming in, refilled the plates, and cleaned the tables. As you understand, the jobs were not done properly. Especially, the tables were not cleaned client after client. They only took away the dirty dishes. It was not very nice picture for the hotel.

Breakfast is stil good, but used to be better
We are staying in the hotel when visiting Leolandia, it is perfectly located, rooms are spacious and staff is nice and polite

At first when we arrived the man at the reception was not very friendly, asked too many notorious questions and insisted that we should change the parking place which was a bit rude.
This hotel is a nice clean place to stay, with everything needed, comfortable bed, good price-quality relation ! We were very satisfied.

You need to ask stuff on reception to setup room temperature.
Breakfast was very good. There is something for everyone . Stuff was very nice and even there was busy on reception they did it very fast and polite. Room are big and clean. There are staircases to garage but it was not available due some works. Good location -close supermarkets and restaurant which was recommended from stuff was OK. Good parking.

Some details in the room require attention. The worst bit is to discover an additional local tax of 2 euro per night per person that wasn't stated anywhere at booking time.

Somehow the idea to have the stairs directly from the room in to garage or basement is not the something that you see every time in hotels and it feels little creepy. A rusty radiator in the bathroom and a shower cabin without doors or curtains do not make the stay pleasant. Ok for one night.

The only improvement would be to add a small jug or coffee machine in the room for tea/coffee.
Large size room and bathroom with modern fixtures. Comfortable bed. One of the nicest B&B hotels I've stayed in.

Shower cabin small and old.
Everything outside the shower cabin. Very clean, very good breakfast and very friendly staff, they recommended me a very good restaurant and free transport to the restaurant.

Coffee machine at breakfast not great. Long way from station is on foot, but very little not to like.
Triple room, very large room, very spacious. Excellent and varied breakfast. Great location with a hire car or private car. Decent restaurants and bars within 15 minutes walk. Ideal location for travelling to motorway and up to the Lakes. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room photos are better than reality. Very simple and basic breakfast. Same food every day. Very thin walls

The requirement to pay the city tax on site was not indicated at booking time, i.e., booking.com showed the price as "all taxes and fees included".

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but it was fine.
We stayed at this hotel for one night while passing through, and it was a good experience. The staff at the reception were very nice and friendly. We had a short chat during check-in, and it was great to feel so welcomed. They even gave us some tips about the local area. Sadly, we had to leave the next day, but we would love to come back. Our room was clean and quiet, and we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of it. The hotel is easy to get to, and parking was simple.

The staff have been super kind and very efficient. The hotel was pretty good with comfortable beds. The location is very good - close to the highway, but without any traffic noise. Great value for money.
