The bed on a different level to the bathroom was less than ideal for us but I may have missed that detail when booking.

Wonderful view across the bay. To sit in the terrace with a beautifully prepared breakfast was a treat.

Nothing (the shower is small but does the job)

Incredible view from the suite, which has its own private terrace amidst the olive groves, with wonderful sea views and sounds of the surf, very peaceful. Excellent dinner at the restaurant. Very friendly staff that made our stay truly warm and welcome. The hotel was formerly a bishop residence, dating from the 1500s and retaining many period details and frescoes while providing modern conveniences. Will come back again.

If I has to make one small nit picky criticism it would be to say that the bathrooms could stand to be updated. But, then again, you are staying in a centuries old bishopric, they are supposed to be old!

The staff at this property are incredibly kind and helpful. Could not have asked for more attentive, eager and interested assistance. The restaurant is outstanding. The view is incredible. Its just a dream.

The breakfast. Very poor . No buffet! It was very cold during the night , we took a blanket from the closet, but it was not enough . The internal finishing, not meeting the expectations.

The description of Seaview suite was somewhat misleading. The suite was on 2 levels. The lower level was a smallish area where the bathroom was. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t easily get inside to close the door. The communal terrace looked into this room so were concerned about privacy but we didn’t see anyone on the terrace, perhaps because no shade. The bedroom was up a steep spiral staircase. Felt dangerous if you wanted to use the bathroom in the night. You could only see the view from the high bedroom window if you stood on the timber box under the window. Breakfast was beautifully presented but very minimal. 2 slices of cake, a very sweet croissant, a small piece of bread, butter, jam & a small bowl of cut up fruit & a small bowl of yogurt. Orange juice & coffee also provided. We’re not cake eaters for breakfast so we’re left feeling a bit hungry. We asked if there was a menu but were told there wasn’t. We were moved on our request to a different room on our 2nd night because we didn’t like the staircase. This room was much better as on one level although view was onto service area. Rooms & bathrooms very much in need of an upgrade.

The staff were fabulous helping with our luggage & the view from the breakfast terrace was lovely.

Parking and arrival not easy. Shower cubicle not clean and smell of urine in bathroom which was not solved during our stay although it was very hot and this may have contributed to this problem. Expensive but I guess you are paying for location.

Efficient staff particularly at breakfast which is mostly served to you. Large dark room but small shower and body fat staining to the tile grouts inside cubicle. Great views from restaurant area which is situated high up overlooking beach. On arrival in public car park you have to press button intercom at bottom of lift to gain access to hotel.

We had wished that the standards of the room were a bit more for a 4 star hotel. Poor quality bedding and linens. Very old (not vintage) looking furniture. I just felt that they could still keep the essence of the palazzo hotel with just aligning a bit more with current esthetic

We loved the location and access to the hotel

Not great value for money, we paid around €215 and would say that around €145 would be reasonable for the season. The hotel feels a bit like a museum. Not dirty, but everything except perhaps the bathroom is very, very old. The TV in the room was tiny, like 14". Did not bother to turn it on. We prefer a modern hotel, but that was mostly my fault, as I didn't research much, just booked randomly on short notice. More like a old 3-star hotel.

Nice views and friendly staff. A lot of character in this old Bishop's palace, which is both good and bad. It is a short walk from the beach and old part of Noli. Parked below the elevator in a public area with reasonable pricing.
