The noise from the neighbors upstairs was almost unbearable — the wooden floors creaked loudly with every step, and we could clearly hear conversations, snoring, and footsteps throughout the night. At times, it felt like the ceiling might give in. The mattress was another issue. It was an old spring type, uneven and uncomfortable, and after just one night we both woke up with back pain. We managed to slightly improve things by placing a thick winter blanket we found in the wardrobe on top, using it as a makeshift topper. The mattress was also quite squeaky, making noise every time one of us moved. Lastly, the shower had some problems — issues that we noticed had already been mentioned in previous reviews, and unfortunately, they still haven't been addressed.

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom right in the heart of Bari’s old town, just a 2-minute walk from the Cathedral. Located on the second floor, the room had a small balcony overlooking one of the charming narrow streets leading to the Cathedral Square — a truly atmospheric view. The room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, a well-stocked kitchen with utensils, a fridge, and even a washing machine (although it wasn’t connected to the water supply, so it couldn’t be used). There were some confusing registration instructions, and the address and code were sent quite late. First, we got the wrong address and I got very stressed if I booked the wrong place. The room had little ants, a molded bath, and a funny window. But that's quite also typical for the area.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Great location! After we checked out, I realized I had left one of my earbuds under the bed. The staff was so lovely — they actually found it and left it in the self check-in locker for a couple of days until we returned to Bari again. Even though there were a few hiccups, the staff remained very kind and helpful throughout!

The place was very poorly equipped for anything. No utensils, no cups, no coffeemaker, lack of dishes. The bed was squeaky, and the neighbors upstairs were super loud, we could hear everything like they are just next to us. I couldn't sleep all night because of the noises. That is my 2nd time in Bari and the apartment was very bad. It wasn't very clean. Check out is at 10 am, for us it was fine but everywhere else is 11AM or 12 PM.

There is no dishes or cutlery. Two spoons with one dull knife and plastic bowl doesn’t count. Also, the shower is in the same place as the toilet and everything there gets flooded with water. There is no squeegee, so the only option is clean water with the towels, which you also have a very limited amount of them.

I stayed in Blue room. Besides the clean sheets and the clean toilet, the place overall looked dirty. and not very good taken care of. There was dust on the night stand, dust on the wall next to it. The table cloth didn’t seem it has been cleaned well by the cleaning staff. Ventilation isn’t fantastic in the bathroom, so the moist from the bathroom stays there quite some time. There were mosquitos in the room.

The location is fantastic, in the hearth of Bari Vechhia. The apartment is on a quiet street, right next to Cattedrale di Bari. So if you are looking for peaceful stay, the place is a good option. On the square with the Cathedral, there is a small cafe with best croissants I had, and wonderful espresso too! Nearby there are many shops and small places to get foood.

There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived that weren’t cleaned. The bathroom sink kept filling with water without draining. There were also no cups for water in the room. The hosts promised to send cleaners after I sent them photos but they never came. I let the hosts know and they stopped replying to me.

The location is great and it had a great terrace. It also allowed self check-in which was very convenient.

Above our apartment was weird noise every night the floor was scratching we supposed to check in at 3 pm the key was not there they were not even replying to our messages we were waiting for the keys for 4hours and we check in at 7pm they even didn’t say nothing when they bring us the key do not recommend this place..

This accommodation is a true gem in the heart of the old city. The staff is exceptionally reliable, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. While the narrow, spiral staircase may be a challenge for some, it adds to the charm and authenticity of this historical accommodation. The entire place is spotless, with excellent Wi-Fi and easy access. The shower area is a bit unconventional but not a major issue. Heating and hot water meet the highest standards, providing comfort throughout the stay. The addition of a refrigerator and a kettle was particularly convenient, making it easy to enjoy breakfast before setting off for a day full of adventures.

Only a few small things were missing to make the apartment perfect - no plates, knife, cutlery or glasses. Two pieces are enough. Such a small thing but it changes a lot.

The room with a balcony was nice and comfortable. Beautifully restored tenement house with with small shrinel of St. Roch :) What makes the place stand out is definitely the great location between the Castle and the Cathedral.

Rude staff!! We ended up being left for an hour outside to wait as they didn't send us the code to self check in. It took them an hour to contact us and give us the code. Moreover some of the pavement of the room is broken and I ended up hurting my foot. I informed them about it but they insisted it wasn't true even though I provided them with photos. They also sent me a photo with of the room with a carpet put on the broken pavement so most of the broken tiles don't show. 0% service.

The bathroom was HORRIBLE. Not clean at all, even though we asked for early check-in and we were not allowed, because the cleaning company wasn't done, but it didn't seem to be cleaned prior. We found ants (small, but still.. they were alive) on the shower floor and near the sink. Don't even get me started about the shower.. the whole toilet and the entire floor was wet after every use of the shower, even though we pulled the curtain and we were very careful. They only left two rolls of toilet paper, and one roll of tissue (which was used to dry the bathroom floor after every shower). Horrible communication!!! We only received the codes and instructions when we arrived in Bari, even though they assure you they get in touch with you a couple days before arrival for instructions (they did, but their only message was about the tourist tax). They didn't respond to messages or calls for DAYS, and when they finally did, they said they will clarify and come back with an answer. Guess what: they didn't!! I had to call multiple times while in front of the building, because we were there and we hadn't had any answers from them. You can hear the room upstairs SO LOUDLY. Every step, every move, every word. The street itself is surprisingly quiet, but the building is not at all. The mattress was embarrassingly loud and uncomfortable, same as the pillows. They were clean, but we found it very difficult to sleep (noise + discomfort). The pillows were uneven and felt like they were not changed in years. The arch mattress was sensitive to every move.

The room had great potential, but unfortunately there are way more cons than pros. Amazing placement, really central, good neighbourhood, and the neighbours are very friendly and welcoming. Easy access to rooms and pretty quiet street. We appreciated that they left a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived. We also got two normal umbrellas (even though one was snapped), a beach umbrella and a beach mat, very useful. The balcony was great. We had a washing machine (with only one laundry capsule), dishes, glasses and cutlery (but they were pretty dirty so we had to wash them first), a coffee machine (but only 5 capsules, and we were two people for six days), and body & hand wash. The towels seemed clean or maybe even new, same as the sheets. AC worked very well. After we finally received the check-in instructions (I wrote more about this below), the check-in was pretty simple: after you enter the 4-digits code on a box hanging on the wall by the entrance door, it opens and there are two keys (one for building, one for room).
