I had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Marchetti for 6 nights, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything one could possibly need – from fresh towels and clean bed linen to a fully functional kitchen where we prepared breakfast every morning. There was even coffee provided, which was a lovely touch. We also had access to a washing machine, ironing board, iron, and all necessary cleaning supplies – it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear that guest comfort was a top priority. The location is perfect – close to everything important in Ancona, yet peaceful and relaxing. Our host, Margherita, was absolutely wonderful: kind, welcoming, and always available for anything we needed.

This place is everything what could be needed - very centric location,everything is close by (including bus from and to the airport). Very well maintainted,spacious accomodation. There is plenty of coffee left for you :) I would highly recommend it for a high standard and a very helpful person responsible for guests (thanks for the delicious birthday cake and rescue with second pair of keys)

The room is facing to the inside of the building, so the room is always dark. And they don’t have dryer in the room (booking.com said they have washer/dryer, but washing function only).

The appartment was very clean, functional and confortable. The host left many things for breakfast and the basics for cooking that were great. It is very close to the city center.

There was air con and it was good, very cold when stood right infront of it. However in apartment 1, it is on the corridor between the bedrooms and is low down on the wall. Therefore it doesn't fully reach the second bedroom (the living room with sofa bed) which made it very hot and uncomfortable to sleep in for those staying in that room. This can make for a very difficult sleep for half of the guests.

The hostess was super helpful, she came to help us figure out how to turn on the air con on. She was very knowledgeable and provided little snacks and treats in the apartment. It was well decorated, clean and an excellent size for a family of 4. We were also given parking passes to park up the hill. There was also the offer of using beach passes, as most beaches have little space in Italy as the sunbeds are usually reserved and paid for in advance. This can lead to beds right at the sea edge and no umbrellas for shade. We were able to cook, wash our clothes and use the dishwasher.

Maybe it was just a case of us being tired and not looking properly but a more obvious sign saying "Palazzo Marchetti" would perhaps make it more obvious to future guests, as our taxi driver got the right address but had never heard of Palazzo Marchetti. The street was very quiet and we thought initially that we might be in the wrong place....

We only stayed one night there, as we were taking the ferry to Split the next day. We liked the location (which turned out to be quite a short walking distance to restaurants and shops) although when the taxi driver dropped us off at the address, we couldn't initially see any entrance. I think we were expecting an obvious sign that said Palazzo Marchetti but there wasn't one that stood out. We asked a nearby shopkeeper who pointed us to the door! We'd also forgotten to read the check-in details and as the outer door was locked, I called the number I had on WhatsApp and got an immediate friendly response and instructions on how to enter the apartment. Once in the apartment everything was great. It was very roomy and comfortable and the air-conditioning was lovely and cool. There were packets of biscuits and crackers there for our breakfast, as well as tea and coffee. In fact we were so comfortable there (and so tired) that we slept in the next day and missed the checkout time! I messaged an apology though, and was told it was ok because the cleaning staff was running late anyway, so we had time to get ourselves ready and leave to catch our ferry. This was very much appreciated!

Finding a parking space was tricky , perhaps because it was the weekend but we did it in the end. The 2 keys for the outer doors worked fine for us but using the third to get into the actual apartment was a bit difficult at times for us.

Very good apartment re comfort, cleanliness, equipment and facilities. We appreciated all the extra things left for us too. The location was fabulous, right in the heart of Ancona and we were provided with parking permits, much appreciated! Thank you for our excellent stay.

Palazzo Marchetti is a perfect place to stay in Ancona. Located in city centre, 1 km walk from the beautiful beaches, very close to the port. Comfortable beds, beautiful apartment. We totally enjoyed our stay there 🥰

Amazing property. Lots of space and the amenities were great. Little touches of water in the fridge and snacks made our day! We arrived early by ferry and they were able to store our luggage while we explored town.

Palazzo Marchetti is perfect in every sense. It is at amazing location, close to the city center, restaurants, bars and public transport. Apartment is spacious and equipped with all amenities. It is definition of cleanliness. Above all communication with the host was smooth, fast and pleasant. Additionally, during the stay we have received clean towels nicely packed with gorgeous flowers. We have felt very special and loved. Would recommend to anybody with a full heart.

Everything was fine. Great location. In addition to a beautiful ensuite bathroom attached to the main bedroom there was a second bathroom with toilet, wash basin, washing machine and dryer (but no shower or bidet). The kitchen had everything needed.

The apartment was clean, excellently appointed! A very efficient method of entry and exit. Big and spacious place. The kitchen was equipped with a variety of dishes and food.

Mornings could be noisy when the garbage bins are emptied on the street.

The clean and spacious apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the house in a narrow street, and only a few minutes from Corso Garibaldi. There is a lift in the house. We had apartment nr. 1. which we found as well equipped with all basic accessories both in the kitchen and in the bathroom.

The apartment (the smaller one, there are 2) has a bit of a weird cut and the aircon is in the corridor, so the living room is quite far from it; at gets rather hot in the night there, it is difficult to sleep.

Nice apartment, renovated and very clean. The host is great, she allowed is to leave our suitcase already before the apartment was ready, which was extremely nice. We had a technical problem, which was dealt with extremely professionally and efficiently. There was a large selection of breakfast stuff, yogurt and juices as courtesy of the host, a lovely gesture.
