NIL DO NOT BOOK THIS

We arrived at 4:30 pm on a Sunday after numerous emails, text and phone calls to find the place locked up. We waited an hour calling/texting the owner as listed, but nobody came so we had to book into a hotel!

This was a lovely and easily accessible apartment in the middle of town, very convenient to everything I needed to do or places I needed to visit.

Location is great! Firm but comfortable bed, good decor and responsive staff.

There was stinky trash left in the kitchen, the freezer was frozen over and unusable, and the kitchen was missing any silverware or coffee condiments. I let the staff know and was offered another ground floor room but we had already unpacked so we stayed given only two nights. Lastly, the ground apartment was VERY noisy! The street sweeper sounded like it was in our room and motorcycle parking next door was noisy all night. The walls are very thin. Hopefully the housekeeping problems were all a fluke given other very positive reviews but I would t recommend the ground floor bc of the noise.

Great location, beautiful room/apartment, comfortable bed, extremely clean. Coffee machine and water. No reception, but vey quick answers from owners.

The decoration is extremely beautiful and the bed comfortable.

The room was too cold and was not possible to turn on the heater. Also, the wifi connection did not work. Also be mindful to bring hearplugs as it is close to a bar and it gets extremely noisy thoughout the night

We liked everything about this apartment! One of our favourites! Good-sized room with high ceiling and comes complete with stove and kitchen appliances. Love the good quality toiletries. Great convenient location near to the city centre and a short 5-10min bus ride from the train station. Ernesto gave good recommendations of restaurants that were excellent (and not touristic). We didn’t know how to operate the stove well and he responded quickly with good advice. The apartment was cleaned professionally daily.

Beautifully designed and decorated ground floor apartment that had absolutely everything we needed for our stay.

Very modern apartment with secure entrance with coded doors to the building and unit. Extremely responsive host when asked for assistance with WiFi, dinner recommendations, and how to access the unit. Inside was clean and had all the supplies necessary. Great walking distance from the historic center and shopping area.

One negative isn’t the fault of the owner - in the evening/night, the back door and window area had noise into the early morning from groups on their way home. The bathroom fan also takes time to get used to as it is on a motion timer even with the light switch off, can be disturbing to light sleepers - but a very small critique. Overall it was an excellent accommodation.

Modern, clean and great location

The location is excellent; he rooms are sparkling clean and newly renovated with top notch workmanship; the property has tons of historic charm — eg, original frescoes on the ceiling,; Ernesto is very responsive, friendly and accommodating.

The only reason we did not give this property a 10 is because of street noise. Our room —like all the rooms I noticed— are on street level. There is a bar next door and people were gathering outside our window literally the entire night. They were still chatting at 5:00 am. We were there on Friday and Saturday nights. So, that may have played a part. There’s nothing Ernesto could about this. However, it did make it very difficult to sleep.

Very well located. Very clean and new, yet within a classic, historic building. Ernesto came quickly to help with anything we needed. An excellent experience.

Everything was great.

Everything was wonderful. It was comfortable, modern,clean,well thought out for the traveller with incredible modern functionality. It has a superb position,everything works and the host is superb. I have visited Parma many times before and this is the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Well done Ernesto !

The property was fantastic--a gorgeous historic palazzo that owner Ernesto and his father modernized and created an updated property, retaining many of the historic attributes of the building. It was beautiful, historic, comfortable, yet modern.

Noting really, unless they had an in-house office to use for checking in.
