Because the room is in a converted old city palace the room was an odd shape with a small window giving limited daylight in to the room. However the unique designer furniture combined with the architecture more than compensated.

I unique hotel in a very old building in the centre of Siena. The hotel is an interesting blend of old stone and brick architecture with modern 1970s designer furniture. The staff were very helpful which made our stay easy with information on walking routes through the city and map provided.

Conditioner in the room was mobile, created a lot of noise

The window in our room didn't close during a rain storm and some of our belongings got wet. The phone call to the reception didn't work. These are details though, it was lovely overall. Very kind and helpful staff, they were a bit nervous with all the work to do. Buon lavoro!

Our room had a shower with a large glass window for your other guest to….watch? Fine for a couple but maybe ask for a different room if you are traveling with a friend…

The open space cube for the shower was a bit to open for a family with a teen more for the couple than for a family.

A spacious place for a family of 3. Great breakfast with a small but great selection all of this in the hearth of sienna.

The property is outstanding. If you drive and have not been to Siena before (like us), trying to navigate the streets and find the parking lot using GPS can be maddening. GPS sent us to the wrong spot. Angela at the hotel literally came to our car a few blocks away, helped us unload our luggage and showed us how to find the parking lot .

Terrific location. Close to everything. Great style and decor. The staff is absolutely amazing. They went far above and beyond. Helpful beyond belief. Engaging. Spot on restaurant recommendations. Wonderful breakfast with several vegetarian options.

I enjoyed the serenity. This ancient building made to be accessible and comfortable. The staff made it very easy to communicate, Italian, Spanish and English. Located in an area witch was not in the center, but close enough to get there...quiet.

This is an excellent hotel in the perfect location for exploring beautiful Siena. All hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included a lovely selection of healthy options. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a medieval building which has been beautifully restored.

The first room allocated No. 6 was huge and grand but had no shower which is an essential in the Summer heat. Make sure you book a room with a shower ! Also Room No. 6 had no washbasin in the toilet room! … and no proper mirror in the bathroom!! We moved to Room No.2 much smaller but perfect!!

Nothing. I loved it all.

Everything about this place is excellent. I was lucky to have the amazing panoramic suite. Waking up to those views at sunrise or having a relaxing bath with the windows open to birdsong and the city bells tolling. It’s just a magical place. I could have stayed forever. The breakfast is superb and very creative. Not the usual boring hotel fare but a feast of local delicacies prepared with love and care. The staff were wonderful and friendly. It really is like a home away from home — but even better. Siena is an incredible city. Far superior to Florence in my view. Wonderful for people watching with a drink in the nearby Campo Piazza at sunset. Loads of great restaurants a short walk away.

A quirky and historical building right in the centre of Siena so all main attractions are only minutes away. Their advice on eating out was spot on. Very friendly and rooms were lovely.
