Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaNo complains.
The standard room is small, but you can fit inside. Here I would mention the fact that the shower cabin is extremely narrow, but in rest the general conditions of the room are good. The lake view from the balcony is absolutely nice.:-)They do their best to offer a good breakfast every morning. We got a free parking place in the nearby(100 meters faraway from the Hotel). We had dinner at the Hotel for 2 nights and they really serve tasty and delicious dishes.

United StatesThe room floors tended to be dusty more than any other hotel we've been to. If you want to swim, you can walk 5min south, but there's no shade If you want to be in a busier area with more options, then Garda hotels are better located for you.
Right across the lake with great views. The breakfast (extra cost) was very good, the best we had in Italy in a hotel. The rooms are good size. The local restaurant are flexible and give good service Short distance from a swim.

United KingdomOther parts of the hotel seemed a little dated but this didn’t affect our stay at all.
Such a beautiful location with the best view we’ve had in a hotel! A lovely room - we had a junior suite which was perfect for our family.

Romania● the parking lot was a bit far; ● the outdated appearance of the building;
● the room was clean and spacious, with a terrace and a great view; ● breakfast was good and varied; ● the location - a quiet place, but you still have a few options for food and a market nearby.

RomaniaThe location is a little far from things, that could have been a bonus but since you are anyway on the road you don't completely get a feeling that it is just you and nature anyways... But there's parking, and not many tourists which is nice. I thought the hot tub is freely available for guests but it isn't, it's paid. Not a biggy just FYI. The main thing that would make me consider going back there for me was that there is sometimes traffic and then you are stuck until you get out of the main garda road so as a location to travel out of that could be a hassle, BUT if yiu just wish to enjoy the view and room and go to a bearby beach that's a great option Beds could be better - these are actually two singles connected yet you could feel each movement of the other person. Was ok for me and i suffer from lots of body aches when the bed isnt good, but if you are a light sleeper or have a prpblem with jumpy beds that could be a thing to consider. The restaurant could do better which is a shame since it is close by and one of the only options in the area.
The room (with a terrace) was gorgeous and very enjoyable. View is AMAZING!!!! From the bedroom you see a beautiful green hill and from the living room the amazing lagoon. It is above the main road and their restaurant so it can be a little "noisy" when you sit outside but it is still very pastoral. The staff was welcoming, communicative and nice, very accommodating, they were very considerate, let us have a late check out when we requested. Room was clean, extra pillows and blankets wete inside a bag so it won't touch the closet directly, which i appreciated! There are sunbeds outside in the terrace which is an extra benefit we really enjoyed. Breakfast is considerably nice for the price and you can sit near the lake which is a great bonus.

CanadaIt's a very quiet, sleepy little town so that was nice... drawback to that is there are limited places/variety of places to eat. Not the hotel's fault by any means, just good to know!
The space for a family of 4 was good, enjoyed the feel like there were 2 different spaces within one room. Staff were friendly and car parking was very easy. Breakfast was substantial and yummy!

GermanyIt’s said that there is no private parking, but they do have it. We had to re-park the car which was inconvenient as it was raining cats and dogs.
Good property. Location for further hikes, rides etc is great. Comfortable large bed, soft bed linen. Decent breakfast. We didn’t use the top floor patio as it was raining but the „closed“ sign was there way before the closing time, perhaps as a precaution.

United KingdomI didn’t like that hotel is misleading regarding the parking. Their parking is really bad. They have just a few spaces near the hotel itself and most of them are reserved for disabled or pregnant customers (by the way spaces are very narrow, so only very experienced drivers can navigate through). But for all other customers they offer a parking space at someone’s private garden further away. It has super narrow gates and no lighting in the evening, so if you have a bigger car, you are doomed to get a damage to your car. Like it had happened to me. 730 euro to fix the bruising on the side of the rented car. Really bad start of the holiday.
The room was lovely and very clean. I liked that the hotel was just a few steps from the lake, so my kids and I could go swimming every day (even evening) in the lake.
