It’s not a serious problem at all, just a tiny suggestion—the pillows were a bit thin and firm. Some guests might prefer that, but maybe one of the pillows could be a softer style for those who are used to sleeping on softer pillows. This was a very minor issue and definitely doesn’t change our overall excellent impression of the hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent—St. Mark’s Square was only about a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very kind and helpful; when we arrived, they even arranged a water taxi from the train station, so getting to the hotel was super easy. We chose to take a taxi, but ferries from the airport or train station also stop right in front of the hotel, so there’s really no problem with transportation. When we were leaving, the staff even walked with us outside to show us exactly where to catch our ride, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty and good quality, and since it was buffet style, it worked out perfectly for the kids. The rooms were spotless, and what I loved most about the hotel was waking up in the morning and seeing the stunning Grand Canal view straight from the bed—that was truly amazing. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

The property was extremely easy to get to by boat, we took the public water bus and the stop was right outside of the hotel. We liked the room and staff, both were great! The staff helped us with booking a private water taxi for our early flight and they also let us check in early to the property!

Hotel starting to look a little tired in places, however overall an amazing hotel and I would definitely recommend and go back.

Location is fantastic .... you can't beat it ..... overlooking the canal and round the corner from St Mark's square.

The view from the charming room to the lagoon was amazing. The room of hotel Paganelli was comfortable, the aircondition worked perfecťy. The modern bathroom had a stylish window and the shower was convenient. Great place to stay. Close to the the city main attractions and to vaporetto station. Let me add some nice words to the staff of breakfast room. They are kind and happy to make your stay in Venice outstanding.

Very hard pillows

Fantastic location and very comfortable room. Was pleasantly surprised as room was larger than most double rooms in Europe and was very quiet.

The room was at the main floor 5 meters from the kitchen of the bar, sometimes a bit noisy but not that much in any case

The location was perfect for us because we've put a boat in the marina of Sin Giorgio on the other side of the shore. The room was good, the view was not on the lagoon but they have some . We've paid very good value (16th of July!) on this room thru Booking ... 128 euros all included with breakfast (not in the hotel but 50m from there at the 'Sestano', a very nice buffet and genuine italian cappucino ==> delicious :)) The room was very clean, the shower and temperature of water was perfect (not the kind of you get burned when you put too much hot water), bed a bit noisy with springs but still comfortable. Fridge and locker, tv in the room. The staff was very kind and professional. If I get back to Venice I'll surely take this hotel but with a deluxe 'view' on the lagoon.

You could hear every noise in this building from different rooms and street but over all lovely places to stay in Venice

I really liked the location was incredible at the main area not far form the water bus I stayed in the annex which is around the corner from main hotel but such a lovely fancy interior great price for what it is would stay here again breakfast had a great range of food options

Charming small hotel on the waterfront with tidy rooms overlooking the lagoon. Perfect for those wanting to stay on the promenade at a reasonable price. Nice restaurants in the courtyard
