Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaNear the train station, but sketchy in the evening. Is like 19 minutes walk width luggage . Even though are shared rooms it feels like individual ones due to the box design. I like it. Better that open shared rooms. For one evening was ok, o am not sure how it will be a longer stay with luggage to store.

AustraliaThe bathroom in my dorm room wasn’t working so had to use different ones which was a bit annoying but not the end of the world.
The capsules felt pretty spacious compared to other hostels I have stayed in and had good privacy with the curtains being magnetically closed as well. Pretty central location and felt reasonably clean.

GermanyBathroom shower made the whole bathroom wet. Impossible to get dry. And no space to put something down inside the bathroom.
Capsule itself was very comfortable. Good bed, clean towels. Enough storage for a small backpack and some room next to the bed for shoes etc Bathroom on the room.

BelarusThe thing is, while rooms themselves are air conditioned, the capsules don't have the ventilation flowing, meaning it's cold in a room but in the capsule it might get quite hot.

BrazilDidn’t like the capsule structure itself! I felt claustrophobic! And the mattress needs to be rotated or change! The bathroom needs more attention through out the day!
I love the breakfast!!!

United KingdomBathroom fixtures need maintaining, yes it's a hostel but could do with more frequent cleaning. Pod screens don't work
Breakfast had reasonable options - cereals, toast, warm and soft croissant,; affordable luggage storage, staff was very friendly and helpful, great location near shops. Interesting pod concept offering some privacy.

PolandThe cabine was small and loud from top floor cabine, when someone moved or dropped something it woke me up. Bathroom was flooded every time someone showered because there was no carpet or drain on the floor. Also they turned off lights around 10pm in our room and didn’t turn on until morning, I asked why it happened, so we couldn’t use shower unless we used our phone flashlight. This is why I had to use common bathroom and shower in the hall which was broken, disgustingly dirty and anti sanitary.
I loved the fact that you have your own private space in shared room. Breakfast was good for me. There wasn’t many options but for a hostel it was quite nice. Location itself was convenient to reach city center and central station.

AustraliaThe hostel honestly has a few cleaning issues. I knew what to expect when I arrived. Just thought others should know too. The bathroom in my dorm was dusty and dirty. The shower was covered in mold and old soap like it has never been scrubbed before. And very dusty with dust above the mirror and on the skirting boards. The shower door was broken and wouldn’t close properly so the floor would be covered in water. Also the shower never got warmer than lukewarm water. The rooms lights never turned off, so they stayed on all day and all night (there was no light switch in our room to do so, you have to ask reception to turn off from the meter) The shared kitchen was nothing but disgusting! The fridge has old moldy food and was absolutely full and you could barely fit stuff in and the smell when opening the door was revolting. The kitchen has 2 small electric burners, they work well. The rest of the kitchen was gross. Food everywhere and all the “clean” dishes needed to be washed before you could use them. Also, the washing machine works but the dryer doesn’t so if your in a pinch like I was and you leave the early next morning plan to do your washing earlier so it has the chance to dry on one of their clothes racks that’s available for you to use. Honestly I didn’t really mind my stay here but just be aware of it. I’m not one to complain but others should know and this feedback hopefully will be used in the future. If the bathroom and shared kitchen were a clean this hostel wouldn’t have a problem
I thought the hostel was in the perfect location I thought the needs were comfortable and very clean!

Austria- Unfriendly receptionist and didn't talk cleary English. - I can also confirm like many reviews that the bathroom was dirty and stinking from urine. The lock was broken, and a primitive lock was used instead. None from outside could see whether the bathroom was occuplied. The shower door couldn't be closed properly, then the floor was always wet. - There is no locker, either you put your luggage in the cabin or leave it outside. Highly recommend to request the lower bed. - check out 11am. It should be at 12 pm.
- The location is quite good. But it is quite far for walking from the central station, where the airport bus stops. -There are restaurants, supermarkets nearby. - The cabin design is quite functional and quite private. The blackout curtain with magnet is really useful. - There is a bathroom inside the female dormitory. This is really good point.

PortugalWe can sense We can sense that this hostel has had its prime some years ago! It is lacking some renovations, but it works (the screen inside the box didn't work). The service of guarding your luggage the check out day was charged, which may be Ok as far as the service tops the value. When I went back to pick up my luggage, the staff just told me to get my stuff from a room which was not surveyed at all. I could have picked anything I wanted. For this kind of service the price was way too high. The morning I stayed, there was no hot shower, only cold water – at least on my floor. The breakfast was lacking variety - but it had the essentials. The staff seems tired :(
Loved the concept of boxes with its code – that way, even if the boxes are not huge – there’s privacy and security. The bed and pillows were ultra comfy! And the bed was done when I arrived :) The establishment is central and you can reach it easily from the train station. The space for breakfast and work is nice with a lot of natural sunlight.
