It was a really good stay! Amazing staff, perfect location close to boat and railway station and also next to carefour. Facilities were good too. I did enjoy the stay. Also there a party, but I was exhausted to stay.

You can hear the party in the dorm (at least in mine 6-bed female), but they do offer plenty of free ear plugs so wasn’t too bad.

Friendly hostel with various spaces to hang out in (bar, kitchen, kitchen patio, and secret garden). They also provided lots of free food (pasta, rice, sauces, fresh veggies) and a good breakfast spread. Staff were all super nice!

It’s the best place to travel alone. Location is absolutely perfect, with a supermarket around the corner. Staff is amazing and super nice. All that you need is available and usually already included. Its also very clean and organized. Noghtlife in the hostel is also incredible. I had the best stay, 100% recommended.

I wish that the beds had curtains but I was fine without those. My room was on the bottom floor next to the garden where at night it’s very busy, so until about 1 it was pretty loud, but nothing terrible. While I was very glad to have access to laundry facilities, the drier did not completely dry my clothes on the normal setting.

The location was great, and the property was a lot of fun, they have everything you need for a nice stay. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had a nice layout and were clean. The staff was very friendly. There was laundry on site which was very much needed for me, and it was a good price too, 9 euro for washing AND drying.

We took a room overlooking the secret garden into is over noisy the cafe under our window stays very very late with the voice of the crowd really very noisy . I’d recommend not to take a room overlooking the garden .

Amazing hostel. I cooked all of my meals for free at the hostel. They provide free pasta, sauce, a bunch of fresh veggies, bread, pastries, etc. Definitely one of the pricier hostels I have stayed in, but having food covered was a huge perk. The town nightlife is coming to the hostel, so it is very lively every night till around 1. Dorms were very clean. They had a secret garden with hammocks which is a very nice place to relax away from all the people who are in the main area.

First time I encountered triple bunks in a hostel, and must say construction wasn't great: the bunks are built out of metal tubing and don't seem bolted to the walls, so any movement on the lower bunks translates into a lot of swaying at the top. Do try to ask for a lower bunk.

It’s an old building so no elevator. Once has to drag the luggage up and down via stairs. Although it’s mentioned on the hostel page that they keep luggage free of cost (pre checkin or post checkout) but the girl at reception charged me 5 euros for that.

Pretty little hostel at a great location in como. Just a 2-3 min walk to the lake front and a 5-7 min walk to main ferry terminal. Welcome drink upon arrival. Backyard is bustling with energy and vibe.

I had a fantastic experience at Ostello Bello! One of the best parts was the abundance of free food and cooking ingredients — from pasta and sauces to spices and more. It made cooking fun, affordable, and a great way to bond with other travelers in the well-equipped kitchen. The atmosphere is super comfortable, with plenty of cozy corners to relax, work, or meet new people. It truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips for exploring the area. Another big plus is the location — it’s just a short walk to a supermarket, the ferry port, and the bus station where you can catch a direct bus to Bellagio. Super convenient for planning day trips around Lake Como!
