Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful hotel a few minutes walk from the port. We could leave luggage till check in time and we went out and booked a boat trip round the island, departing at 1800 stopping in Ginostra for sunset then round to Sciaro del Fuoco to view volcanic "explosions". Definitely worth doing. Next day we walked all around and along to the beach at Piscita and back seeing the 3 churches and very impressive cemetery en route. At night hiked up past the former Osservatoria restaurant and on up to the observation point c210m where we had great views of the volcanic activity. Great experience. The hotel is very comfortable with a nice small terrace. Breakfast is excellent- so many choices of savoury food, fruit and cakes. Definitely recommend.

As we booked late and it was the absolutely busiest time of the year we got one of the last rooms which was decent but for the price i would have wished to be bigger and maybe with a terrace but that’s not really the hotel’s fault. The breakfast was a lot more varied than usually in Italy but i think they almost overdid it but if you love sweet breakfast you will be very happy. The quality of the prepared foods was so-so. But that’s also me being very picky about food.

Liked the location close to the harbour and beach. It’s a classical italian hotel so everything works well and is clean. People were very friendly.

The most excellent hotel in the most exotic island. Close to sea harbour, beach, and the mountain. Exceptionally communicative and cooperative staff. Special thanks to Anna. She was the one who warned us about weather and ferry cancellation and kept contact with us since booking. They helped change dates, they were polite and their breakfast is one of its best....comparable to any 5 or 7 star. Fantastic in every possible way. Best of best is staff.

There was a lot of noise from the traffic and people below in the cafe when the balcony doors were open. But with the doors closed, the noise was contained.

Was given a nice room with a balcony and sea view. There was a table and chairs to sit and watch the sea. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Just down the stairs below the room entrance were some tables and chairs where you could sit and watch the volcano which was nice. The hotels close proximity to the docks facilitated any boat trips, whether to other islands or the sunset cruise to watch the volcano.

Probably the easiest option for a short stay on Stromboli, very close to the port and with a beautiful breakfast room which resembles a greenhouse. Rooms are small and a bit outdated but clean.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

Location of the hotel is perfect, right on the coast and very close to the harbor. Rooms were good and quiet, showers were working well, no problems with water. Breakfast was awesome, many options and all were tasty.

Room quite basic, no kettle. Bar closes for food at 7pm in May maybe out of season? But still very early. Also if leave bags at Reception on check out note it closes 1-330pm. Whole building is locked up, you can't even get back into toilets until 330pm

No kettle in room or ability to get a hot drink after 8pm as hotel closed up for the night. Suggest they consider a small room with kettle, coffee tea milk sugar that guess can use out of hours.
