Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe apartment was large and airy, right in the centre of Sorrento, three minutes from the rail station and about 10 minutes walk to the port. If you want to stay in the centre of Sorrento there really isn't a much better placed apartment. It's also directly opposite a good (though incredibly high security) supermarket which is handy. The owner was very attentive, was extremely helpful and gave lots of freebies such as breakfast items. We got thorough instructions on different aspects of the apartment and guidance on the locality, all very useful. We'd highly recommend this apartment.

AustraliaNothing. It was perfect
Beautiful large and quiet property very close walk to the station and Plaza Tasso. Host was so lovely and provided supplies and information to assist us with our stay. The apartment also had a washing machine which was great. Supermarket located directly across the street. There are steps which you can walk down to the port for day trips and catch the local bus from the port back up to the main town. Beautiful town and awesome place for day trips. Will definitely be back

AustraliaI really don't like mentioning any negatives, but the building doesn't have a lift. If you have problems with stairs you may struggle up to the second floor.
Everything. The size of the apartment was exceptional. Large bedroom, living area, large bathroom, and a well appointed kitchen really made the place feel like home. Mauritius left plenty of breakfast goodies, including coffee, tea and milk, juice, fruit, yoghurt and croissants. Breakfast on the rear balcony each morning was a perfect start to the day. The location was perfect, absolutely perfect. Right on the main street. Open the doors to the front balcony and look at the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The double glazed doors blocked out the noise. It was amazing. We are light sleepers and had no trouble sleeping at all. Very close to the train station, the Port and Piazza Tasso. You are spoilt for dinner choices, so many close by. I cannot express how good the location is, we were totally impressed. The check in was easy, Mauritius met us, showed us through the apartment and gave us a good insight into the goings on in Sorrento. Well done Mauritius, you can be proud of Orsola Maison, it's just brilliant.

Australiait is worth mentioning that there are three flights of stairs for those who are less mobile, but if that is not an obstacle for you don’t let this put you off this apartment.
we arrived and were warmly welcomed by Maurizio. The apartment has Gad brand new kitchen and bathroom renovations which were a great full surprise, as was the fully stocked pantry and fridge with everything you could want for breakfast. The location was great, a five-minute walk to the square, a supermarket across the road and a very short stroll to restaurants. The apartment was spotless, spacious and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Sorrento. Thanks, Maurizio for making our stay at Sorrento a great one.

GermanyNo complaints great stay!
This place was very spacious and is in the perfect location for Sorrento. It's a short easy walk from the train station and bus stops. It's also in the heart of Sorrento so it was an easy walk to see everything. Our host was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay great. This location had everything we needed for our 1-week stay.

United StatesThere are two things that prospective renters should be aware of. First, although we normally slept with few if any distractions, there were a couple of nights where we were kept awake nearly all night by very noisy neighbors. Don't know how often this happens, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Secondly, there were nearly 50 or so steps to the apartment from the ground floor. If you are an older person or a person with notable balance or mobility issues, you might want to consider an alternative place to stay. Upon checking out, getting our heavy luggage to the street safely was very difficult - to say the least.
The apartment is spacious and clean with a nice little balcony overlooking Mount Vesuvius. The owner was very respectful of our privacy and was easy to work with. It was a wonderful location, only about a 5-minute walk to the center of town. For the most part, breakfast items in the apartment were not what we would normally eat, but we made it work by supplementing those items with things we picked up across the street at the supermarket. We thought this place was an exceptionally good value overall.
