Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Can highly recommend this apartment because it was clean, comfortable and very central to all the main sights. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced and the setting was overlooking a pretty garden. The host was always friendly and accessible and very helpful when checking in. I would definitely stay here again.

Hong KongI would like to have a mini fridge in the room, but will definitely come back for the quietness and coziness in the ideal location.
Very central location but surprisinnice,quiet inside the room. I didn't hear any noise from the street or in the building. Smart self check-in process after 5pm, clear instruction, easy to enter. Spacious room (and bath) with comfortable beds. Once entered the room, I didn't go out till next morning. I felt relaxed and secure and slept a lot. The next day, I was surprised to find duomo was only a few minutes away on foot. p.s. 11am check-in is EARLY, compared to 2 or 3 pm in some other hotels I have stayed in Italy. Free luggage storage after check-out is nice too.

Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was surprisingly big too, such a nice surprise in a city hotel! The location was great and the whole vibe felt cozy and charming. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence!

CanadaThere are a couple of brit pubs a block away frequented by party anglos and the noise is very upsetting until very late at night. The facilities at the locanda are super comfortable in a residential area and if it wasn’t for that nuance it would be a 10/10. It is sad to see that there is no ruling in Florence for noise control and the ambition of some to profit from poor behaviours reigns over order

Locanda Orchidea is in the perfect location to walk everywhere! It has great restaurants in the neighborhood along with a variety of shops! The Duomo is, also, very close and an easy walk. Can’t say enough about the staff and beautiful rooms!
