The hotel is located next to the ferry terminal which was ideal for traveling various places on the lake. The hotel is very quaint and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Everything was fine.

Excellent location on the lake and opposite the lake ferry terminal, what convenience to explore the lake. Our annex room was spacious with lake views and balcony. Hotel staff were welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was good and I would recommend the families restaurant nearby which produced some wonderful food. My tuna dish was a delight and the hazelnut biscuit dessert was divine. Varenna itself is a beautiful location.

The street noise.

Unbeatable location, although it can get a little loud as it is directly in front of the ferry stop. Several restaurant options all around and very centrally located. The room was way larger than I expected and we even had a covered balcony/sitting room with the best view of the sunset. The room stayed cool with all the windows opened, allowing for a nice breeze. Titti, the administrator, let us check-in early and was so helpful and sweet she even sent us off with a sack of breakfast as we left on the first bus out. I would hands down stay here again and hopefully for a longer stay next time. I highly recommend it.

The only thing I can fault is that there is not much soundproofing between rooms, but it is a very old historic building. The windows were soundproof.

Squeaky bathroom door. They agreed to tend to it immediately.

We had the most magical stay!!! Can not recommend this hotel enough. We had a gorgeous view of the lake and were right next to the ferry. The hotel is family owned, and they also own and we make reservation reservations for you at the restaurant downstairs which was exceptional! Truly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. We loved it! The room was spacious with big opening doors and very quiet at night. Plenty of storage space and a comfy bed. Can’t wait to be back!!

A beautiful family owned and managed hotel. The hospitality was exceptional. We stayed in the annex, a modern boutique style addition to the beautiful historical house which sits in the most prime location on the lakeside in front of the ferry .

Absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such fabulous service. Only hotel to have private secure parking in such a prime location. The room is stunning, modern , great views with a veranda . We loved the room from opening the door and have not been disappointed 🤗
