Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThere's no fridge in the room.. Im not sure if this is typical in Cortina just like not having AC in the room..the bathroom is a bit tiny and the bathroom ceiling needs to be repainted.. For the price we paid, no hot option for breakfast like scrambled eggs, bacon, or sausage..just cold cuts- cheese, prosciutto cotto & crudo and boiled eggs..When we stayed there the only juice available from the machine was pineapple..the rest of the juice are marked out.. But anyways all in all it's okay.. we booked it very last minute.. By the way, this is not hotel related but public transportation in Cortina is not that commendable considering we visted during high season..buses never on time and depart every 1 hour.. bus services end very early..if i remember it right 17:00-17:30 is the last departure time from the stations which is very inconvenient..Worst in Passo Giau. No bus coming down to Cortina after 15:00..make sure to check their bus schedules..
The location is perfect! close and walking distance to the station and there's a lot of shops, cafes, and restaurants in the area..

IrelandThe accomodation was great! Clean room, nice staff and amazing breakfast :) Just the location is a bit tough. It's close to the centre and any other cable cars (all within 20 min!) just, there are A LOT uphills! If you are happy with uphills, I would highly recommend this place. Apart from location, everything else was amazing!!!!

AustraliaCONS: - This was my most expensive accommodation during my Europe trip so I was expecting something more. - Bathroom/Toilet was very small but big enough for a small person to get things done. - The shower handle was broken and I could see temporary repairs have been attempted. For the cost of the room - it’s affordable to purchase a new shower head. I had to hold the shower head as it would not stay up in position. - Bathroom amenities were very basic - shower cap, eye makeup remover pads and cotton buds. - No aircon or heater here - but wasn’t an issue. - No block out light curtains - only sheer curtains so you are awoken as soon as the sun rises. Forget daytime naps - otherwise bring an eye mask. - Can be loud outside because it’s within the town.
Stayed here for a few a few nights and a solo traveller. PROS: - Within the main town so close to all the shops - 10 mins from the main bus station - Staff were cordial and spoke enough English to communicate - Free Breakfast not the biggest breakfast selection but still had everything you want. From eggs, toast, yoghurt, cereal, cheese, meats, baked items and coffee. - Chocolate Croissant was excellent! - Rooms are new and clean and comfortable. - Room has a floor length mirror, kettle, coffee, tea, water bottles (complimentary), TV, closet, safe and the bed has a mantle for your things. - Bathroom included enough towels for my stay.

SlovakiaLocation: is in the city center, so just have in mind that there can be a city rush from the surrounding bars till very late night Parking: as it is in the very city center, you dont have possibilities like in some other places, however hotel can arrange some if you needed (for a fee). However we have found a free parking place 5 minutes from the hotel (so no problem at all for us) In general: but it is not a hotel fault - Cortina is preparing for the Olympics, so there is some building rush and some inconvenience (for some people this can be a problem), but from my side - even it is nearby a construction site, it has not influenced our stay.
Location: in the city center (close to city walks, but also good as a base for exploring the local hikes. Personell: very friendly, helpful Room: very good, with a balcony Breakfast: I enjoyed it (very good) Cleanliness: very good, everything was clean

AustraliaThe rooms are very small and very basic. There is no cooling or fans and the rooms get very warm at night (summer). Only option was to open the door but was very noisy. There is also currently a lot of construction around the hotel (for the Olympics) which created some problems for access
The location of this hotel is very convenient, just a short walk to the centre of town The breakfast we very reasonable and staff were generally friendly and helpful

RomaniaWhat I didn’t like was that the whole place had an old, musty smell — our room had outdated, poorly maintained furniture, and the walls looked uncared for. The entire room felt stuffy and old. Due to nearby construction, it was quite hard to find by car, and we only received a helpful photo with directions about an hour after arriving. Parking was €15 per day. The breakfast was small with very limited options. Overall, the hotel has potential but really needs renovation to improve the guest experience.
What I liked was that the staff were fairly okay, and the bed and room were clean. The hotel has great potential because of its central location.

ThailandThe hotel does not have a lift. So it was difficult for senior people like us to carry the luggages up on the stairs though our room was on the first floor.
The room is good, the bath room is good with bathroom gears, big towels. The room is clean.

LithuaniaMe and my son stopped by here for couple nights on our hiking trip. This hotel is located in center of amazing little town Cortina. Staff is friendly, breakfast was more "continental", no fruits, fried eggs, or any vegetables. Coffee is good, but far away form "italian good" :) Big construction next to the hotel, not very noisy, but street is half closed so if you use navigation enter central area from north side, south way is closed. Hotel parking is expensive, used public parking, it's free. Great room, small bathroom.
