How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room is quite new. Cleaned every day, bathroom clean and with enough space for shower. I've liked the ac, very good. Bed was quite comfortable. I've called the owner jusy one time, he answered almost immediately and give the right indications. Very good service

The shower was greening in some part. Overall was very very clean.
The location was very central and close to everything. There is a central parking right under the city, at the port. We stayed for one night and it was ideal!

The location is so good that finding a parking slot was a bit hard (but not impossible) If I ever come back to Termoli I would definitely choose this stay again.
The suite is very nice and clean. The location is excellent, there are a lot of restaurants and pubs around, there is also a supermarket in front of it.

I booked this room last minute for 2 nights, as I had work to do and some meetings online. I had a double room. Facilities were new, fresh and very clean. Location was fantastic! There is supermarket across the road, and while I didnt have a fridge (a mini fridge in the room would have been good) I was able to buy some fruit / yoghurt and some lunch things that I ate in the "breakfast room". "contactless" check in, but was very easy. Was able to check in early, which was much appreciated. Room had a little balcony, and coffee/tea available in the breakfast room. Wifi was fantastic, successful work day. Location is so great to wander the streets of Termoli.

Cooking facilitates we’re separate but not really a problem
Close to station and port - v convenient. Supermarket and good restaurants nearby. Owner accommodating when our ferry was cancelled and agreed an extra night. Termoli was more interesting than expected.

Parking and starting climb, otherwise fantastic.
Location and room was well renovated, parking à little difficult otherwise right in the center of all the action.

Breakfast was supposed to be included, nothing was there in the breakfast room... Empty pastry displays (no crumbs, so it was empty and cleaned long before) and no drinks, nothing. Not too much of a hassle as there are plenty of coffee shops and bakeries around anyways.
Very well located, very clean and comfortable. Cosy room with beating/air-conditioning. Bathroom was roomy and recent.

One of the rooms does not have a true bathroom, but a semitransparent, non ventilated part of the same room with sliding doors. The shower in this room also leaked water into the common area. Very noisy with the main street downstairs. Mattresses are very soft.

We had a suite 2 beds and was changed to a single bed for 2 tall adults last minute,host was like a ghost after our first discussion👎👎👎👎👎

It was false advertising as they said there is air-conditioning available. .When we got to the room the remote was removed and when I asked they said that they turned it off. They should not advertise that it's available,as that's why we did not stay the night there and find different accommodation. I expect them to refund me for the money that I've paid

I arrived after a long trip by car around 11pm. A mail i got hours after booking was in italian even though I dont speak italian and I used Booking.com in German/English. I had to call 20 times and after my italian friend called and wrote that number on whatsapp someone finally answered us. If it wasnt for my friend I would have had to look for another Hotel in the area around 11:20pm.. The room and every else was cool but it was very nerve wrecking and not what you wanna experienced at night after an exhausting trip…let alone being without a translator.
