The hotel and gardens were exceptional, the staff went out of their way to help with any request (particularly in the Bar and on Reception) and this was without doubt one of the best hotels we have visited in Europe

Here below are not “red flags” because , again, this hotel was great. but just ways of improvement from my pov. - It would be great to have at least a Chromecast system on the TV or the option to connect to Netflix. - The scrambled eggs at breakfast seemed to be from a powder mix, which was slightly disappointing compared to the overall quality.

Beautiful hotel with a calm atmosphere, far from the crowds. • The botanical garden (one of the oldest in Venice) is a real hidden gem, especially in August and in today’s climate context — a precious asset. • The staff gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. • Great location to discover a quieter side of Venice, away from the hustle and bustle. • Despite being a bit far from historical landmarks, the hotel has access to canals on both sides, offering free shuttles to Murano and paid shuttles (8€) to St Mark’s Square. • The breakfast is very generous and complete. • Perfect for both couples and families — I highly recommend it. We like the spirit of environmental commitment and sustainability policy. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The setting, staff, and facilities make this hotel a true gem in Venice. A few details could be improved, but nothing that would stop me from recommending it wholeheartedly.

The AC did not work, it was beginning of May but still as the sun sets the room was really hot. We were suggested to open the windows instead, but lots of mosquitos rush inside due to being close to canal and the garden, and the smell of the canal fills the room when the windows are open. Not sure why the AC did not work, if it did, would have been a much more comfortable experience.

The hotel is located at a very quiet part of the city, but easy to walk to main attractions and vaporetto stops (with one just around the corner). The garden of the hotel is the best, really good to walk and fun for the kids. The breakfast is decent. The staff is helpful, you feel welcomed.

Cleaners started a little too early in the morning.

Location is fantastic! Lovely streets/canals nearby and away from the main tourist thoroughfare. Still really easy to get to everything on foot. The room was very big, comfortable with a modern style, which makes a change for Venice. Front desk staff are really helpful, polite and efficient.

Everything was great. We went over NYE and if there is one thing I would change is the NYE dinner. The food was not great and for something so festive as a gala, I think table is service is better than buffet. The starters were great, but for mains we only had risotto and lasagna, not very glamorous.

The cover on the bed for the winter months is too too thin. The turn-down service knocks on the door before 6pm...this really does not work, as this is often the time when you're back from a day of walking around and are getting ready to go out for dinner...turn-down service needs to be later or not at all.

Excellent location if you like to be outside the busy city center and have a bit more of a local feel...we chose the hotel because we prefer the neighbourhood. There are many nice restaurants in the area, and there is a vaporetto station just behind the hotel. The accommodations are comfortable, the breakfast buffet is abundant, and the garden behind the hotel is lovely.
