How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The first hostel where you have to pay extra for check-in .What a joke :).They mentioned into the description of the booking but who writes all so it’s tricky way to get money from visitors.I literally don’t like it at all .

Aircondition is not functioning well, pretty hot.
Great location, close to everything, you can use the premises before and after check-in, you can use the kitchen, you can also store luggage with a small fee.

My bed was right next to the elevator, and it was not easy to sleep because of its sounds.
The location was really good for such a small price.

No airco, bathroom was a bit small. Finding my room on the first floor took some time.
Nice spot, idea is pretty fun. I can imagine its a nice spot for tourists if its busy. Breakfast was alright! (Coffee and croissant)

The smell inside the room also fan that was making a noise. Also in a photo there was a closet - but room we got provided was no closet.
The main floor, and maybe the location because McDonalds was not that far away

There was no air conditioning, it was stuffy

Poor Breakfast: Starts at 9am and Not a real breakfast - small croissant with nutella and small coffee. That’s it. I recommend to skip it and take it on Navigli

The lighting with strong and different colours in every location felt like a bad mushroom trip... They eventually played too loud music in the common areas, it felt like being in an afterhour party when eating breakfast. It would have been nice to know when booking what would be included in the breakfast (a cup of coffe/tea and a croissant).
The facilities were clean and in good care. Cleaning personnel cleaned the bathroom every day.

A lot of the facilities didn’t work, the toiletflush was hanging from the wall, the AC didn’t work so it was pretty hot, the stove was broken. The lights were a bit weird. Not very well isolated in the night the street can get loud
The beds were compfortable. There was a lot of space.

The beds are comfortable, and the room itself is clean. However, the overall cleanliness is not great — especially in the lobby area, which looks neglected. It's not just about cleanliness, but also about the furnishings — the furniture is outdated and quite unpleasant. Staff is great!!!

It gets hot. Wake up sweaty kinda hot. There’s a small rotating fan on the ground and that’s it. Some AC would be nice. There’s also some noise outside but that’s to be expected and it never hindered my ability to sleep. The wifi doesn’t work downstairs at the kitchen.
The location is good, close to the duomo and some stuff nearby and 30 mins from FlixBus stop. Breakfast included. It’s simple (a Nutella filled croissant(or just the croissant) and a cappuccino or espresso) but it’s nice. There’s a carrefour a 30 second walk away. Free lockers included. There’s free wifi. The kitchen is relatively well equipped.

The included breakfast was a poor, scalding coffee and single croissant. Also only available between 9-10am (unsure why so limited given it was something we could have served ourselves), so we had to skip one due to an early day trip. Given the price of the room per night, this was a little disappointing. The dark neon lighting in the hallways were also quite off-putting overall.
Staff were super kind and welcoming. Remembered us as guests and greeted us cheerfully each day. Our private room was comfortable and we enjoyed the private rooftop balcony. Weird amount of non-functioning switches all over the walls but at least one connected to each light! 😅 Nice pressure and hot water in the shower. Good amount of storage and a seating area and table also available in the room. We did have to return to reception to inquire about missing towels and soap that was supposed to be included, but received them immediately with apologies.
