A little cool at night some heat might do the trick ,a little far from town without a car.

Peace and calm,great view. Staff really helpful ,picked us up from town as some of the taxi drivers were not interested in picking us up, We did find a really good one ,however, Lorenza ,her number is in the apartment.

Location was a little far away from everything by foot. I did the trek into Varenna by foot one time and it proved to be a little to much for a 58 year old arthritic to bite off. Used the car the rest of the time. Also, the path isn’t lit up by the accommodation, so super sketchy walking back at night. Make sure you have flashlights! Walk up the hill from where you park your car is a doozie! No AC in the apartment. It was pretty hot during the day (I was gone most of the day), but was comfortable sleeping at night with the windows open and a fan.

Super clean and cozy! Lots of room to spread out. BREATHTAKING VIEWS!!! Seen some of the most spectacular sun sets right from the front balcony of the apartment during my stay! Lorenzo is a rock star! Super helpful!!!

The view was spectacular, the accomodations were perfect and the host was wonderful!

The property itself was great. What we didn’t realise is that being at the Via Pino district of Varenna, you really need a car as there is no public transport to Varenna city centre. Also, no shops south of city centre (not even in Fiumelatte). This ‘criticism’ is only for information for travellers like us with no transport (or taxi E25, or 3km walk which we mainly did that is quite scenic in itself).

Great self contained facility, ultra friendly host, fantastic view of lake (towards Bellagio).

It is a 40-45 minute walk from Varenna and really hard to get a taxi in the evening so had to walk back quite late at night. Toiletries provided were very basic

The property is quite far from Varenna, a 30 minute walk with decent inclines, and although the views are nice it would be a trek for some. The apartment we were in has a wall in front of the front door blocking the views. You have to be standing to see the views, which is fine if you know this at the time of booking. The apartment could use a new bed, it sinks in the middle. Also having some beach chairs to use and a book about the area would be a nice touch. Hiking/restaurant recommendations etc. Better and timely arrival instructions with recommendation to shop prior to arriving at the apartment (grocery store is 10-15 minutes away in the town before the apartment).

It was a large apartment and comfortable for two people. The views are lovely (though you do have to be standing to see them). Good water pressure for the shower.

You have to walk 30 minutes to reach the centre of Varenna but for the price and amazing view it was totally worth it.

The apartment has amazing view and is in a quiet part of Varenna approximately in a 30 minute walking distance from the centre of Varenna. All the amenities in the apartment met our expectations.

Lack of amenities in close proximity. Nearest shops are in Varenna about a 4km walk (or walk to Fumilate train station and get train to Varenna. This walk is about 2km).

The view is absolutely breathtaking and no pictures can do it justice, outstanding. The property was very clean. The host was also very helpful and responsive.
