How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower was poor. Cold for most of the time.
Breakfast was good. The pool was very good and the pizza from the pool bar was excellent! One of the best we’ve tasted in Italy!

Breakfast was with really cheap white bread, smelly sausage, hard cheese, super dry sugary croissants and packaged juice. Really worst breakfast since ever. The room was Standard, Shower however could only in the bathtub, without fixing the shower head on wall. felt a little 1960 as said.
Short way to Beach. Pool was nice. Less busy part of town, not so loud, Staff was friendly and good with kids.

The apartment kitchen was poorly equipped with no cloths, bin bags, bottle opener, wine glasses and only a few mugs. The music around the pool is so loud and not very relaxing.
The balcony on our apartment was big and a lovely addition.

The family room, booked, not quite what we imagined: one room with a high ceiling and 4 beds...looked more cozy and stylish in the pictures.
Nice location in fair walking distance from the town centre. Nice pool in front of the hotel and with a pool bar.

A bit to loud music by the pool.
Very helpful and polite staff. Nice pool and the poolbar served very nice lunch and drinks. Good location and close to both stores and cafés ☺️

No mini fridge in the room and the air conditioning didn't make the needed cold.. The beach in front of the hotel had no sand, only rocks.
Great swimming pool with an excelent water quality. Great wi-fi. Large bedroom.

Pool wasn’t operational and we thought it would be until the end of September. Is why I booked this hotel for our family. It was 28 and the children wanted to swim.

I think we didn’t really understand the layout of the rooms when we booked. We thought that there’s a bit of a separation even though it was a quadruple room. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the shower was not that effective.
The property was good. The parking was a bit of an issue but the owner was always there to help.

Breakfast was mid. They did not have enough room to accommodate all guests. Sometimes you have to wait in line to eat breakfast. There is no water wall in the bathroom so when you shower the entire floor gets wet. You have to hold the shower head as there is no holder on the wall. There are only two sun beds reserved for each room even if you are four people in one room. There was no one in the pool and at least 15 sun beds were empty when they insisted on getting one of us off the sun-beds because we were using three. We kept on saying that we would get off if somebody wanted to use the beds but they kept bothering us for an entire hour. Only after the employee called the manager that did they leave us alone. Bwt nobody needed the sun bed.
Pool was nice. The room was big and clean. It had a nice sea view. The Bathroom was nice and big. The security is good the garage door is locked at night. And the door is watched all night.

Rooms were a bit tired and need updating, but the price point seems to adequately reflect this. WiFi sessions allowed a maximum of 4 devices per room, which unfortunately didn’t cover our needs, but may be more than adequate for others. This is not a problem we encounter with other hotels, but maybe needs reviewing? Breakfast was included in our stay, was ok, without being anything special.
Easy access, walk into San Remo. Pleasant staff. Parking was good, located in hotel parameters, which is really a must.

Just 1 socket under the TV table No sockets near the beds No omelette after 9:30 :(( If you will come earlier you find it partly burnt.
Very good approach to guests Thanks Olga for help and support during our stay. You can take your pets for 10 euro per day. Beach is nearby.

The hotel is in bad condition. They said shower, but I had to knee down in a tub to wash myself. I had surgery on knee and foot and hurt myself!! TERRIBLE noises from toilet flush and air conditioning. No fridge , no mirrors unless you jump on the bed, which I could not. Hotel conditions from the 1950!!
