My one complaint was the mattress, as it was too firm for me and a little uncomfortable

The place was so lovely and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was just such a lovely place to stay. There was a shop 2 minutes walk away with a great selection of food and the nearest town was a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride. There is a path down to the town so you avoid walking on main roads. It just couldn't have been more of a perfect place, I would definitely return with the kids. Great value for money too.

I cannot fault my stay at The Park Hotel – everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The hosts are genuinely welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s clear this is a proud family-run business, and the care and attention they give to their guests really sets it apart. We didn’t just feel like visitors – we felt like part of the family. The rooms were fantastic: spotlessly clean, with great air conditioning that kept us comfortable throughout our stay. They were cleaned daily to a very high standard, and it was lovely to have basic cooking facilities too, which made our trip extra convenient. Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The pool area was another highlight – beautifully kept, refreshing, and the perfect place to relax. Whether for a quick dip to cool off or a lazy afternoon by the water, it added so much enjoyment to our time here. We also loved that we could hire electric bikes directly from the hotel. It made exploring the lakes and surrounding areas so easy and enjoyable – a fantastic way to see more of the beautiful scenery without any stress. What makes The Park Hotel truly special is the atmosphere. It’s homely, relaxed, and memorable – the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. Every detail, from the rooms to the service, showed how much the family cares about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. We left with such happy memories and a real sense of connection, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend it. Lovely warm welcome. Staff were amazing and we felt like a family. I was happy with my gluten free breakfast, husband with the gym and son with the pool. They went above and beyond.

Staff very help full they helped organize a few day trips my daughter has a few food allergies and were very understanding and helped out at breakfast location was great was easy ti get to main tourist towns and the pool was fantastic highly recommend to stay here

Hotel on the road, very large room, its own parking under the barrier (you will be given a key fob from the barrier) , the room has a kitchen, refrigerator. To the neighboring cute town 5 minutes drive, there is also a beautiful lake. The hotel had a swimming pool, but we did not use it. Breakfast is small but hearty. In general, everything is for breakfast. Recommended

Kitchen had no kettle or toaster. Staff did lend us a kettle. You need a car as taxis are very expensive

Very nice place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even we arrived a bit late, they opened a pool for kids for a while. We really recommend this hotel.

The walk from the train station along the main road was dangerous with no kerb in some places. When we got to the hotel they told us if we had rung them they would have picked us up but we were not aware of that which was a shame.

The staff were lovely and could not do enough to help. The air con was good, the rooms had everything you needed and with a supermarket a few doors down and a catering van coming everyday to the lay-by across the road you are sorted. Breakfast was lovely. The pool clean and a very welcomed addition which we happily sat around in our down time. This place is a gem we would certainly come back to.
