How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing.
This hotel is truly luxury. The staff are amazing and could not be more helpful. We were even given chilled water for our onward journey. The location and roof top pool was perfect. Breakfast was very good too with a vast selection to choose from.

Everything was great. Clean rooms, excelent breakfast, great pool at the roof. But the best service. Personel always helpful and very very nice. I really enjoy the weekend at this hotel.

The hotel, the room and the dining area were all very clean, modern and well kept. The restaurant was very good, the food was just excellent, the produce and ingredients were very fresh. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Especially Gaetano! The Spa treatment was relaxing. We will definitely return.

I had a fantastic experience at LHP Hotel Montecatini Palace & SPA. The staff were warm and professional, the rooms elegantly designed and spotless, and the spa facilities truly luxurious. The rooftop pool and bar added an extra touch of magic, perfect for relaxing evenings. Ideal location within walking distance to the town center. A perfect blend of comfort, style, and relaxation — highly recommended!

It was hard to get the room cool- thermostat did not seem to work despite asking about it multiple times. The hotel allows dogs and sometimes people go out and leave their dogs behind so there was a lot of barking at times.
We got upgraded and the room was amazing with a tub practically the size of a swimming pool! The breakfasts were delicious and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was in a great location walking distance to everything yet out of the noisy area.

Nothing. Everything was way better than expected.
Perfect and quiet location. Incredibly friendly people at the reception desk. Very clean room and bathroom with very nice amenities. Nice little balcony.

Modern and excellent interior design. Front garden is beautiful! A room upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surprise as I was there to celebrate my birthday. The manageress also presented me with a beautiful oriental Lily and a birthday cake. It was a real treat!

We loved this hotel. The staff were quite special: Nadisha was beautifully attentive with serving dinner in the excellent restaurant. Assunta and Mariana were extremely helpful on the front desk and our room was upgraded to a junior suite. The Spa was wonderfully relaxing with a wide selection of massages and facials. Excellent breakfast too.

We want to mark the great service and especially the outstanding help of Mrs. Marianna that was always there for us. The spa was amazing, and we have really liked the breakfast - the staff was very friendful!

A very comfortable and clean hotel with excellent breakfasts. The staff is especially welcoming – a special mention to Mariana at the reception, who is always ready to help and make the stay even more enjoyable. We have stayed here multiple times and have always been satisfied with the service and atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Parking in the street (just over 3 euros per day). Impossible to lower the room temperature below 26C.

The location, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The facilities were kept spotless! We enjoyed the breakfast with Nadisha serving us. The desk worker, Marianna helped to translate our needed medical appointment and results. She was so patient. Francisco was helpful as well. We would come and stay again. It was peaceful and beautiful in November.
