The bed was only a double and it was too small for a 6'3" man. Shower cubicle (particularly the opening) was very small and there was no fridge in the room to keep milk.

Staff were very friendly and excellent in accommodating all needs e.g. helping to carry bags up the stairs, organising a kettle and taxi to airport. It is located only a 7 minute walk from the train station and there were lots of takeaway shops, bakeries etc in the near vicinity which was great.

Upon arrival my room bathroom smelled horrible. I was told it was vinegar used to clean. It definitely was not. There was mold in the bathroom. Everywhere that was easy to clean was clean, except mold around shower drain. The hard dirt and mold were in the hard to reach places that were easily visible, it scares me to think what I couldn’t see. Trust me, I didn’t look for it and didn’t want to know. The shower head was very low. My room looked nothing like the picture advertised. It was a single so I expected smaller, but not that small, the bed, supposed to be next to the wall, had to be at a small angle, it didn’t fit. The blankets on the bed were very old, the bottom sheet didn’t fit the bed. The small window with iron shutters, was very close to the wall next door. I felt the block the hotel was on was not great, neither did my taxi drivers, however, on both sides, it was very nice. Close to shops, restaurants, and all kinds of public transportation. Disclaimer, I never said anything to the front desk so they had no opportunity to fix things I mentioned above. The staff was always nice. Remember they have no elevator. Reception carried my suitcase up, above call of duty. There was a convention in town and getting a place was challenging. I paid more for that room than I paid for my oceanfront accommodations on Amalfi. I feel I was taken advantage of.

The rooms are far worse than shown in the pictures, no amenities in the room, A/C not working, no soap, no remote for tv, no breakfast offered, no glasses/coffee machine/refrigerator/etc. in the room very narrow and insufficient parking space

Shower not so warn on first morning. Shower fitting kept coming off the wall and fell on my feet hurting my toes!. Only 1 variety of coffee, no cappuccino. Balcony shutter didn't lock so had to close the glass doors and made the room hot.

Despite booking a room stating strictly no smoking, it was smelling badly of cigarretes! When complaining about that to the staff I was given an air freshener. It remained stinking throughout my stay. I always book Roomster based on whetherthey have AC or not. Of course my choice is those with the AC on. Despite description states the room is equipped with one, it did not have it. Instead there was a standing fan. Thiswas kind a solution but iy should have been stated on description accordingly! There wasn't any soap provided, only shower gel sachets. The toilet paper was already half empty! Tower Hook broken, shower hand not working properly- leaking with a poor stream pressure. There was no bin in the room. Lots of dust on the waredrobe and some empty paper bags from the previous guess.

Booked this hotel as it is located close to Central Railway Station. The distance is great, just few minutes walk away. The lady at reception was nice. Also liked a copy, memory form pillows. Has potential but requires lots of changes and a good Hospitality Management!

perhaps offering a small breakfast for convenience but there is so much in the area it's really not an issue....

Angela was very helpful as we arrived in the morning after taking a train to Milano Centrale. We were able to get in the room within an hour. Rooms are basic but comfortable and quite clean. Ground floor room has bars on the window but I appreciated this. The neighborhood is more 'working man' than upscale as it is only 4 blocks from the train station. We felt perfectly safe - no issues. The location is a 40 min walk from the Piazza del Duomo. There is no breakfast as part of the stay but they have some limited beverage availability. Lots of local coffee bars on almost every corner in the area with delicious pastries.
