The rooms were clean and lovely, the beds were very comfy including the sofa bed. The breakfast was nice, mainly pastries but they did include some plain yogurt and some boiled eggs. There are a flight of stairs leading to the apartment and then once inside another short flight separating the bedroom area and the living area. The a/c worked well during a big heat wave. The view from the living room is beautiful.

The breakfast was okay but may be a little variety could be introduced. But there was nothing I didn't like.

The place is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who is considering staying in the Cortona area. Huge apartments with a sense of history are equipped with everything you need. Beautiful garden and wonderful views all around. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It was so beautiful and peaceful that we almost didn't want to go anywhere else.

This place is magic! So beutiful we couldn't wait to come back at the end of the day. Great place to stay for visiting a lot of Tuscan gems like Cortona, Montepulciano, Monticchiello, Eremo "Le celle", Pienza and so much more. Very close are also Lago Trasimeno and Perugia. The apartment was very cosy, bed extra comfy, everything was so beautiful! Breakfast was also delicious. We couldn't reccomend this place enough and we will absolutely come back for sure.

The place is very nice. Old monastery buildings, renovated and suitable for the comfort stay, but still with the charm of history. The territory around is big, buitiful garden and horses. Big pool and places for the quite stay. Staff is very helphul and friendly. The breakfast is good. Wifi connection also is strong and good. Recommend.

The staff were so friendly and full of suggestions and recommendations. We were toured around the property. It was very easy to get in and out and we felt safe and secure. It was only a 10 min drive to Cortona. The accommodations are very rustic charming old Italian style - we loved it. Felt very authentic and we were comfortable.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay in Cortona—spacious, beautiful, and full of character. The property, a former monastery, is simply stunning, with so much charm and history. Our apartment was enormous, and we instantly fell in love with it. We only wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of its beauty and tranquility. The staff were wonderful—so friendly and accommodating. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus for us, as it was a great convenience halfway through our holiday. The grounds were lovely, and the horses added a unique and serene touch to the atmosphere. The location was also fantastic, with free on-site parking and easy access to both Camucia and Cortona. We appreciated being close to shops and enjoyed preparing meals in the large, well-equipped kitchen in our apartment. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would love to return in the future! Highly recommended!

Served our needs extremely well. Traveling for an extended period of time and wanted a property to relax and take on day trips to other towns and cities. Staff helped us find a chef to come in and cook a Tuscan dinner and it was great. Highly recommended for those wanting to do same.

the ground apartment bathroom is a bit uncomfortable due to special facilities ( walk in shower but leaves water on the floor).

The property is lovely , green and beautiful. The building is of stones so blending great in the theme , close to supermarkets by car , a bit remote so a car is needed. Lovely hosts helpful and accommodating

All was great.

There was plenty of room for the kids to play and the pool was great. The available laundry was great, with plenty of room to lay out clothes to dry. The most, Amata, went above and beyond her duties by answering all of our questions promptly and arranging a dinner onsite for 8 of us in their large dining area!

I did not like that we had to leave!!

This place is a gem on earth! The old world feel and very prestine trimmed grounds... the location is secluded away from the hustle of the village. It is tucked away, yet very close to a everything, to include a supermarket. We spent 7 nights here, we enjoyed the beautiful pool, played ping pong and just relaxed. This is a place where you can relax indoors with stunning views from the living room or outdoors in such gorgeous gardens. Its a retreat!!!! The kitchen was very well equipped. The entire apt was spacious and we just looved the coziness within the such an old but highly updated building. Excellent AC!! Valeria and Amata were great hostessess, very friendly and communicative. You have great parking on the property. This place is worth every penny. You will not go wrong. Book it now.

We loved our stay here. It was great to sit our for our meals and enjoy the beautiful garden. The pool was an added bonus as the weather was very hot. A lovely way to cool off. Everything was perfect.Visiting Cortona- what a beautiful city! Also Lago Trasimeno- bello! Thank you.

It felt like home for a week. Valeria was so friendly and helpful and everything so beautiful. It gave us the real Tuscan experience. And we enjoyed the crystal clear swimmingpool and the barbercue. The laundry on the premises is also a plus! Great respect for the Monastero.
