The room was quite small and poorly soundproofed. The windows were very small and high with a view at the wall of the building next door. The bathroom furniture was a little outdated.

Right in the middle of the town. Fantastic restaurants and medieval streets just outside the door with an amazing atmosphere. Breakfast was really good.

Excellent location with a bonus gelato shop on the doorstep! Good variety for breakfast. Friendly staff who were willing to help. Comfortable bed and pillows (if you like a firm bed)

Great location, near the ferry port and main bus station, loads of restaurants nearby. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Spoke English and German as well as Italian of course. The room was a good size with double-glazing, a/c and a ceiling fan, and there was a good selection of continental breakfast. And as a bonus the best gelato seller in Malcesine was right outside!

Rooms are basic. But what more do you need?

The staff are excellent. Marianna on front reception was so helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed by 3 hours. And Doing in the breakfast room was always so bright and cheerful. The location is fabulous for wandering around Malcesine, close to lots of restaurants and wonderful shops. Thoroughly recommend.

Our room only had a corner window which made it very difficult for the air to circulate. There was also no shutters so there’s light early in the morning. I think this may depend on the room you get. On the other hand, our room did not give on the street so it was pretty calm. Overall the walls are thin so it can be noisy at times - we could hear our neighbor snore - so pack earplugs.

The location is the best, right in the middle of Malcesine, close to the bus stop .. great. Very nice and helpful staff, good breakfast.

Our mattress was a bit too hard for us, but that is just personal opinion, pillows were comfy.

It would have been nice to have access to a coffee machine/kettle at night......but apart from that, everything was great.

The only thing we missed was tea making facilities in the room. Everything else was very good. Rooms were spotless, Hotel was bright and airy....the staff were lovely.....location was perfect.....and breakfast was more than adequate with cereals, yoghurts, fruit, meat, cheese, eggs, bread, pastries, preserves and a good selection of juice, coffees and teas.

There's music in the street opposite the Modena every other Sunday night which is very good but if you need your sleep ask for a rear facing room .

Due to a booking error, which was nothing to do with the hotel, however the management were happy to correct the mistake with no problem. This is not a plush hotel, but the value fir money could not be bettered. Very convenient for the ferries and fairly close to the cable car.
