The flat is very good and well located. While the neighbourhood is filled with graffiti and at first glance it can be intimidating, San Lorenzo is a great neighbourhood with good restaurants and bars - not those touristy places one often ends up while visiting. The flat is connected to the coliseum by the tram 3, which also connects you the metro line 1, allowing you to go to the Vatican, the central train station and many other sites one wants to visit when in Rome. The staff is very friendly! The room was good and clean.

Not the best neighborhood. Trash and graffiti everywhere outside in the streets. The messaging system through booking.com never worked. I even called booking.com to try and figure out the messaging problem and it was never rectified.

Greeted by staff member. He gave me tips on places to eat and where the nearest train station was located etc. water and snacks and coffee available upon arrival. once you got to the hallway/area of the guesthouse, it all looked up do date with decorations etc. the room was cute and updated.

Not a single thing. Yes it is slightly farther from the center, but that’s the beauty.

Great stay in Rome! Micro was super kind and quick to respond to anything I needed. He welcomed me with free water, orange juice, and wine, which was such a nice touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a 2nights stay, enjoyed every moment. The room size is okay for 2 ppl. Not very big but we were besties so we didn’t had an issue 🙂also, Lorenzo is very hospitable and kind he gave us a welcome gift and made our journey more memorable.

It was very clean, easy to access, and any questions we had were answered quickly. Additionally, being met at the entrance and had our luggage helped up the stairs and being given a tour of the property was great and made us feel safe!

Place was nice and the service was excellent. Rooms and wash rooms are little too small and thats all you could expect in Rome if you have to stay right close to the city centre. The owner was fantastic and very helpful.

The area doesn’t seem very safe at night, but on the day is very ok.

In front of the building is the station and you have 9 stops to Colosseum. The owner is a very nice guy, he helps us with informations, checkin was possible with one hour earlier. The room was clean.

The room was really clean. The beds were comfortable. The host was really lovely and met us on arrival showered us with gifts. There is a coffee machine in the room which is so convenient. The apartment is a bit further out of the city centre but right next to a tram stop and around a 15 minute walk from the metro.

The walls are a bit thin

The area is a bit busy and can get a bit noisy at night.

The only thing is soundproofing - if neighbours are loud you could hear them, but ppl there are polite, was okay

Welcoming was amazing, super nice host - met us in person, gave couple of recommendations on foods in the neighbourhood, shown where transport is. Clean cozy room, clean bathroom, facilities working properly, mattress is amazing - very comfy. Some yummies on top of all. One of my fav stays in past couple of years. 🙂

The only thing that comes to my mind is the soundproofing of the room. There was noise coming from the corridor at nights.

The room was clean, comfortable and modern. It was also well-equipped with coffee machine, kettle and mini fridge. Although the location is not central, there is a tram stop just in front of the building and it takes you straight to Colosseum. Metro station is about a 20-minute walk away. In addition, there is a good supermarket right next door, as well as some restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful - always responding quickly and they gave wine and other gifts upon arrival. I would definitely choose this accommodation again!

It was clean, it was a great location, far away from tourist points, but like one minute away from public transport, which allowed us to get anywhere we wanted very easy. The owner was very kind, helpful. If I ever manage to come back to Rome again, I would definitely choose this one.
