Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI thought the overall cleanness of the outdoor & indoor pools were a little poor. The indoor main pool was not pleasant to stay inside due to smell. WIFI did not work great on laptop.
Lovely looking hotel in a good location, opposite a great restaurant and the train station. Comfort room was very nice, luckily got the front middle facing room! Large car park with lots of spaces. Spa was included due to time of year, which was small but very quiet & peaceful. Great poolside bar/restaurant. Hotel & rooms very clean, and staff very helpful.

IrelandWe had sevaral issues, 1. the cards were not working and we had to go to reception twice to reprogram them; 2. the other night there was a loud noise in the room and we had to move to another room; 3. we stuck in the lift once, literally between floors and called for assistance. In all cases, the problem was solved, but nobody apologised, as if it was ok. Towels are free in the spa, but you need to get a card to access them. The weirdest thing is swimming caps; they force you to wear them.
The room was clean and big enough, with a small balcony. SPA was lovely, with hot rooms, a steam room and a great swimming pool. We also loved a bistro, the food and wine were excellent, and Karlo was a great help. Despite some unusual aspects, our overall impression is that it's a nice hotel.

Czech RepublicAmazing location: the high speed trains stop just outside of the hotel. It's 45 minutes to Venice and 15 minutes to Padova. The hotel has great amenities, especially the thermal pools and the spa. Even during peak tourist season (mid-July, although we were here on work week days) the hotel was not overcrowded and had a calm atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here, it was an amazing experience at an unbeatable price.

United KingdomI didn't like the people next door, arguing, slamming doors and had no respect for anyone else.

United KingdomDidn’t like the constant pop music played, even outside around the pool. It was irritating and not restful. The town of Montegrotto feels neglected with many shops and hotels closed.
Friendly staff, spacious comfortable room, great breakfast, good dinner, (excellent house wine) very pleasant lunch at poolside bistro. The spa staff (providing towels) were particularly pleasant. The location close to the station was very useful for us. Also had a very interesting chat with hotel manager.

PolandThere is no direct access to the hotel from the parking, you need to walk around the hotel which is a bit tricky at first, so we got lost and couldn’t find the reception. Do not enter from the pool area.
Warm pools -34C water temp. Welcoming staff We had the half board, the food was just amazing every single day a different set of starter, first course, second course desert as well as a welcome buffet often full of seafood: prawns, octopus, fish and variety of veg.

United KingdomNegligible things - not worth mentioning, overall impression was excellent. This was not our first visit and returning wasn't a disappointment
Everything, from check in to check out went smoothly, lovely clean, modern, room with balcony. We were half board and the food choice at dinner was excellent and of a high standard (although breakfast was expensive for what it was - €20 if evening meal is €35 out of €55 daily total ). The adjacent location to a train station is fantastic for sightseeing. The hotel has superb spa facilities, but we had so much to see and do - we barely had time to use anything.. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, most of our interaction was with the waiters and waitresses who are a credit to the impression we have of the Hotel Mioni.

CanadaThe reception staff in general were rude and arrogant However the pool and restaurant staff were very pleasant! The pool was too warm for summer heat.
It was a nice hotel in a cute little town with plenty of parking. It was across the street from train station which gave access to Venice and Padua.

SpainFor the price, too little was included. The first night due to traffic, we arrived at 20:30 for the check-in. Dinner is supposed to end at 9pm, but at the reception the girl told us that it's too late for dinner, because the kitchen closes at 8:45 pm, so not even the buffet salad dinner was offered to us even if we paid for the extra. The 2nd night we could have dinner so we went as soon as they opened, but the service in the restaurant was a little too much in a hurry, trying to give us the next plates too fast and asking often if we were done with that one, so the delicious food could have been even better. The room is definitely smaller than advertised, although we had a big terrace in the first floor where people above could ash on us, and guess what? There was some construction work on top of the pool, so the workers could watch us, as well as people walking to the Spa from a corridor, so I wished for more privacy. The Shampoo and Shower gel were empty, and they didn't fill them up even if I asked the next morning. The walls had some big noticeable humidity stains which is not okay for a thermal Spa Hotel... If you're still reading this, I guess you know I did not enjoy my stay as expected, but honestly, what bothered me the most was at the checkout: After waiting around 25 minutes for the long queue at the reception, we finally arrived and the receptionist asked us how was our stay, my gf said it was nice 🙂👍🏽, and I looked at her and said: 😅🤨? So the receptionist asked me why didn't I like it? I said it's okay, but he insisted to know why. So I started telling him about the stains in the room and then he started ignoring me straight and told me I should have gotten the next higher category, but I tried to tell him that it was not nice to pay 200+€ for a night in a small room with damp stains, but he wouldn't listen and he just handed me over a little paper voucher for a 5 or 10% discount while ignoring me.
The pool was nice and warm, it's always nice to be outdoors in thermal waters. The dinner at the restaurant was really good 😊 The maitre was also very pleasant.
