Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing at all.
The location. Literally a 10min drive from the centre but as we were looking for peace and quiet, this place was perfect. As for the views. WOW. We spent 10 days here in the family room so had our own kitchen area etc. The room had everything we needed for our stay. We had the pool literally to ourselves the whole time we were there, it was like a home from home. The hosts Joseph and his family were very accommodating. If we wanted to go into the centre all we had to do was send them a message with the time we wanted to go and they would happily drive us down. Excellent place to stay. Would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Sorrento.

NorwayThe WiFi in the room was not working and connection was pretty bad in the room. Some small things, like would have been nice that cutlery and glasses were clean. It’s no big deal and we washed it , but would be nice to have it clean already ☺️ There is a construction on site, were they are making the place even more gorgeous and better. However, it would have been nice to get the information about it in advance, it was quite dusty after passing by the site and you can’t really avoid it if you are going to the parking lot or going to the city. I’m sure the place will be amazing once they finish the construction ☺️
It’s a beautiful location, with beautiful view over sorrento and gorgeous sunsets. The land is amazing , loved the pool area , which is super nice to relax at. The owners were super lovely, would give a shuttle from and to the town, as it is quite a bit of walk uphill. The stay felt cozy, personal and like being a guest at their home. If you want a relaxing stay and cozy stay away from the crowd and the noise, I really recommend the accommodation.

United KingdomIts location, whilst beautiful, could be restricting. The roads up to the apartments are extremely narrow and hard to manoeuvre. You can walk it but it’ll take longer and it’s very hilly, it can also be dangerous in the dark with the cars. Luckily Joseph will run you up and down for free but he’s only free at specific times which restricts you.
Really beautiful lemon farm with a stunning view. You can see Mount Vesuvius from the pool and watch the stunning sunsets. The apartment had everything we needed. Joseph is a wonderful host and was so helpful. Because of its location, car is the easiest way to travel into town and Joseph provides that for free. You just message him and he’ll run you up and down. If you want a place away from the centre but still 5min drive away this is perfect.

United KingdomLovely views in this tucked away spot. The owners are delightful and always on hand to take you into the town and pick you up. This worked very well. The pool is also lovely we skipped sightseeing for one day and enjoyed a day around the pool, having a BBQ in the evening. We went to a lovely local restaurant recommended by the owner who drove us there and picked us up.

AustraliaIt was tidy, but not the cleanest it could be, just stuff like the shower and the drawers feeling dirty. But not much bad to say.
Beautiful property with lovely pool, is a 20 hard walk to town but the owners take you to and from, they are always there on time and so helpful. Beautiful sunset view from the roof.

United KingdomSuperb location, very Rustic, traditional & authentic. The views were incredible and the lemon garden with the pool was amazing, it was very quiet with no other tourists about, we had the place to ourselves i really enjoyed my time here and Joseph & Enza went above & beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay. The house is also just outside of Sorrento (5 mins) but we were drove down each time and picked up, which was excellent customer service, not many would do this. I highly recommend this place, it was beautiful, id most definetly, like to come back!!😁🫶🇮🇹

United KingdomThe only small issue was that the shower cubicle is quite small so my partner who is 6ft found it awkward to use.
Situated on the hills just up from Sorrento, this was a lovely place to stay during our time there. The owners could not have been more helpful, they collected us from the train station upon our arrival and dropped us off when we were leaving. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The views from the property are beautiful and you have access to a terrace during your stay which is gorgeous at sunset. It is a very narrow road to the property so the hosts are kind and available a lot of the time to help with a shuttle service to and from Sorrento. It is an easy downhill walk of 15 mins down to Sorrento though and 20 min uphill on the way back. We had a lovely stay.

AustraliaNothing it’s perfect if you looking for a quiet place.
What an amazing place to stay in Sorrento among the lemon trees, away from all the crowds but only 10min walk to the main tourist area, and shuttle service when you need it. Amazing views with beautiful sunsets across the bay of Naples

United Statesindependent access to the property itself from main Sorrento streets is a challenge. However, Guiseppe and his wife Enza, the 40-year owners of the property drove us to the train station/maritime seaport every morning and picked us up every evening from a supermarket meeting point during our 5-night stay. This convenient free shttle service made up for the challenging access to the property on foot.
Property is located on a hill with a breathtaking panoramic view overlooking the Bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius towering over Napoli. A swimming pool is available and the property is surrounded by fruit trees and flowers garden.

United KingdomAs this is a lemon farm, it is 10mins drive up a small lane way, the allocated shuttle times are slightly limiting, however we made it work and would do this all again in a heart beat. We often walked down into the town which took about 15mins.
Nothing short of incredible. A rustic lemon farm stay, over looking Mount Vesuvius. As there are only 4 rooms we had the pool to ourselves everyday morning and night. We made lemonade from the farm lemons and the kids loved it. For a family with Kids, this experience is exactly what we needed after a long day looking at the sights. The accommodation its self is great but you do need to accept its rustic charm. If you like to spend every night by a pool on the hill looking over the bay and watching sunsets I recommend. The hosts are very kind.

United KingdomA lovely location overlooking Naples Bay and Vesuvius and set in a lemon grove. The property is a small distance from the centre of Sorrento but the host offers a shuttle service although it is also a nice walk. The breakfast was thoughtfully created and we were presented with a different Italian delicacy each morning. The swimming pool was also a welcome addition.

AustraliaI can't really think of anything
The hosts, Joseph and his wife, were just the most welcoming people you could come across. Not only did he pick us up from Naoles airport at a later hour, he also drove us into town on the 1st day. The view was amazing and the lane ways to get to the property were interesting, to say the least. On our last day, Joseph also drove us and our luggage to the train station and his wife gave us traditional Sorrento Easter cake, as we happened to be leaving on Easter Sunday. A very lovely experience in the winding lane ways of Sorrento

United KingdomWe travelled as a family with a teenager and toddler. We took advantage of airport transfers provided by the host (at a fraction of the price of a taxi), this service was seamless. We stayed in the studio apartment, which had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The view of the coastline from the garden is spectacular, the garden itself was also beautiful, bustling with lemon and orange trees. There is a well built swing and slide in the garden for the little ones. There is also a lovely swimming pool, but this wasn’t open when we were there due to the season. The location is a short walk from town via a narrow hill, or there is a free shuttle service provided (which we took advantage of as we had a pushchair). It made a great base for sightseeing, we visited Pompeii via train and Capri via Ferry which was easily accessible. The hosts Josef and Enza were lovely and very hospitable. We would definitely visit again :)

NetherlandsThe apartment was nice, but it needs to be cleaned a little better.
The apartments are on the mountain. The view from the terrace was beautiful. The pool was under construction, but that didn’t bother us because it was a little cold. The communication with the owner was really good. He picked us up at the airport, because we asked for it. There is a free shuttle available between the apartment and the street (it’s a 15 minutes walk). Whenever we needed the shuttle, he arranged it within minutes.
