How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

One of the staff members I felt could have been more approachable, was actually quite rude. However 2 other staff members were really good and very friendly. I think people who go will know who the rude one is!! Decent hotel overall.
Decent stay, good for the price if you want to budget with a good location in Rome

My daughter stayed at Hotel Milo for a short 3-night trip, and everything was great. The location and price were absolutely fine for a few nights. She was traveling alone, and the staff were very kind and attentive — they even reminded her not to return too late in the evening for safety, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and cozy, and while the breakfast wasn’t rich, it was perfectly enough for a 3-star hotel at this price. A good option for a short stay in Rome!

Bathroom shower cubicle is extremely small. You cannot turn.
The staff, the location and room was very clean and bedding changed daily.

The location was good. This is our second visit, so we travelled a lot by trains, it is very convenient live not far from the Termini Station.

Unfortunately, the facade is under construction so we couldn't open the grills on window becasue there were obstacles.
Location was perfect, very close to Termini station. All major sigths are in walking distance. Staff were very polite. Room was very clean.

Not far from Termini. Very comfortable. I arrived at 12:30 in the morning but had no trouble checking in. Very good for Solo travelers.

Very basic amd dated rooms. Beds were ok, just 1 pillow. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. WIFI not reliable as kept dropping out. The door to 5th floor slams if not closobg carefully and this kept happening throught the nights so I didn’t sleep well at all for the 4 nights I was there. Breakfast was included but again very basic. Reception is manned 24-7 and the hotel staff were very very nice so not complaints there.

The courtyard entrance was a little off putting on arrival, we did not realise that we could take the lift up to the 1st floor reception so lugged luggage up the scruffy steps to discover reception on the 1st floor. It soon became apparent that there are 3 hotels contained within separate areas of the building. Once inside the reception area we were reassured as to the quality of Hotel Milo and certainly reassured when reaching our room.
Great location surrounded by a good selection of restaurants. Reception & breakfast staff are really helpful and welcoming. Loved the simple breakfast on offer which was more than sufficient to start our busy days. The room was very clean and fresh with towels replaced every day. Although located on a busy road we were never effected by noise from the outside. Reception is manned around the clock and good security measures in place for accessing the room corridors.

I liked all , but it could be around 60 euros.

Very good localitation near Roma Termini and easy walkingdistance to Roma center and all attractions as Colloseum, Fontana di Trevi and much more. The surrondings are very nice with many good restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff, good breafast and opportunity to leave the luggage in reception waiting for the train!
