How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

everything was OK
Accommodation at 76 Via Alessandro Volta was in a modernized house (1st floor, no elevator), on the outskirts of the city, modernized apartment 1+1, small terrace to the courtyard, modern and comfortable furniture, the apartment is quiet, clean, nice, cozy, fully equipped, mattresses are comfortable. Parking for 9-10 cars in the courtyard. Nice, pretty and hepful host Maria (she is like the little sun above the Italian sea and always in a good mood) - everything was simple, no problems, good tourist advices. When traveling to the city, we we used a taxi car. To the Cinque terre go by boat (it goes once an hour from the port, buy a one way ticket). Get off in Rio Maggiore, explore the town, use another next boat to Monte Rosso al Mare, explore the town and go back to La Spezia by train (every 20 minutes). In the evening visit the beach in Lerici next to La Spezia (10km) with many pubs and restaurants deserves your attention. The weather was great!! We would love to come again!!

Truly one of the best hospitality experiences I've ever had in my life. The location is lovely: a quiet, peaceful area just a short walk from the city center. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully modern. I wholeheartedly recommend this place — it was perfect in every way!

Only drawback is the location that is a bit far from the city center by foot, you need to take the car to get there.
Maria is super nice and super helpful. The room is top notch, same for bathroom. There is place for parking in the shade so it's really nice.

Excellent property, very nice, modern, clean and spacious. It has the best possible parking space behind the ramp, very safe to leave the car overnight. The staff is very friendly, especially Maria, who is full of usefull tips. Highly recommend!

I would just suggest a mosquito nett because we left the balcony door open for an hour or so and we were terrorised by a mosquito in the night 😅
Comfortable double room with basics. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room, facing the parking lot, was quiet. For 1-2 nights is good. The small breakfast was a good as well. As for location, it is far, but we already knew that before choosing it.

Host was very friendly. The facility was recently remodeled and very clean and comfortable. There is a private parking lot so you can park your car safely. The interior is much more stylish and cleanly maintained than the exterior of the building seen on Google Street View.

The room was spotless, the bread for breakfast was delicious, the host was friendly and drove us to the train station himself. Parking was very convenient, and it was a 20-30 minute walk from the city center. After dinner, I walked back and the seaside scenery was beautiful.

We had an incredible stay at this lovely accommodation in La Spezia. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and really comfortable. The location is good, especially if you're planning to visit Cinque Terre, with the train station just a 5 minute drive. What truly made the stay special was our host, Maria. She was so friendly and helpful, always available for tips and recommendations. Each morning, she welcomed us with fresh croissants and coffee, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Looks brand new, very clean, large room, fare price, easy parking and the landlady was very nice and helpful. They offered us a ride for free each day to the train station and a complimentary breakfast
