The air quality inside room was poor – there was a damp smell and a sense of moisture. It improved once I turned on the air conditioning, though I had to keep it running all night, which was noisy. I chose the hotel mainly because it offered parking, as I was advised by locals that finding parking in Trieste can be difficult. Unfortunately, the parking arrangement was inconvenient and disappointing. The lot is about 300 meters from the hotel, and you first have to pick up the key at reception, leave your car temporarily on a busy street with no parking spaces, then return the key afterward by driving around narrow one-way streets and stopping again in traffic. On top of that, the parking is charged at a rather high rate. Next time I would try my luck with different hotel.

I stayed at Milano Hotel for one night during a business trip. The room was very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Breakfast was fine, mainly pastries (croissants, bread with jam, cakes, biscuits), with the option of cereal and a small selection of cheese and salami. I did miss having something cooked, like eggs, which would have made the breakfast more complete.

the front desk staff was not very kind.

the location is very good, since it’s in the city center, near to the train station and a huge parking. also walking distance from the main important points of the city, including restaurants and shops. the room was very clean, and its size is enough for a family short stay. breakfast was ok, a lot of sweet things and no eggs. we forgot to book the parking lot of the hotel, but using the park silos near the train station was not a problem.

The hotel is a bit older, but everything is very clean and well-maintained. It’s in a great location, perfect for exploring the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, a good value for the price.

No electric kettle or bottle water provided at room. We need to go downstairs to ask for some hot water. Room size is little bit small.

Very close to both the train and bus stations. Besides, you can easily walk to all the attractions within 10 to 15 mins. The staffs are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is fine but varieties are not much.

Quite dated, the reception and breakfast area are dark and not very welcoming. The breakfast was disappointing: little choice or healthy options. Large groups at breakfast with only one staff member so many plates were empty until after hey managed to put out more food.
