Nothing went well. The owner/manager was completely disinterested. Booking.com have also been a nightmare and have proven to be impossible to contact regarding complaints. I paid over £300 for a canal view quadruple room. I got a second floor flat, in a separate annex from my travel companion. The top bunk was unsuitable for my child as had no handrail and was on a slant. The room was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. The manager told me to go to the police when I complained. His answer to everything. For the love of God, please please avoid this hotel. Sadly I can't upload photo's.

The location was on the canal which was nice for a good view.

There was a horrible odour in the reception and the rooms also the towels, curtains and blankets stunk. We got there at midnight and had to wait 15 minutes to find our room because the worker didn’t know where it was. Also on the booking it included parking and free wifi but when we asked the guy he said there was no wifi, However when I read the reviews of the hotel people said they did have free wifi. Also we were surprised when we realised there was no parking which led to us having to park 20 mins away and had to take a ferry. Also when we called reception beforehand the worker refused to send us an email or message of where the closest parking is. Also be aware there is no parking in Venice even though this hotel says there is. There aircon wasn’t working and the guy acted dumb and said it was working. It was a sleep less night because of how hot and stuffy the room was, our only other option was to open the windows which led to a lot of bugs. The floor was disgusting as if it wasn’t even cleaned and in the shower be aware because the water gets EVERYWHERE. I found a type of bug on the pillow that was like a worm and the mattresses were very stiff.

    Location and restaurant

Very moldy and dingy. The toilet seat wasn’t attached when I got there. The shower was tiny and the shower curtain was dirty. No room to walk around the beds. A/c cannot be adjusted beyond 26 degrees Celsius. Staff not responsive to messages.

There's nothing to like, this isn't a hotel. Have to shut down and stop robbing people. Ruined the first experience in Venice!

Disgusting, stinky, dirtiest place. I was sick every time I walked in. We had to go out to coffee shops to use toilet. We were telling off our 5 years old daughter every time she touched something in this place, and we were all stressed, not resting at all. The room wasn't anything like the one we booked. WE FELT ROBBED AND CHEATED, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

    Nothing. It was terrible.

Russian is below. Staying in this hotel means a ruined vacation. Believe the reviews – don’t believe the photos. They were taken about 20 years ago and are no longer relevant. Fraudsters. Complete scam. And even if the rooms from the photos still exist, you won’t be accommodated in them. First of all, the hotel is difficult to get to, it’s far from the center. Suitable only for those who want complete isolation. The rooms where I and other guests were placed are located separately from the reception – we were led out and taken to another building. And that’s where the nightmare began. It’s a mold-infested maze of corridors, stairs, and rooms, covered with dirty moldy carpets. Mold is everywhere, especially in the corners. I can’t mistake it for anything else – I have allergies. Without medication, you can suffocate there. An employee came in and suggested turning on the air conditioner. That seemed strange to me. I soon realized why: he came with the remote, then left with it. The air conditioner didn’t work for even a minute. As soon as we left the room and closed the door, the air conditioner stopped working too. There’s a fan, and at first I wondered why if you have air cond – then I understood. It’s completely covered in dust, or maybe mold – it’s hard to tell. Impossible to use: once turned on, it would blow dust and spores, and there isn’t even a socket for it, because the only outlet is near the bathroom, already taken by the phone charger. No outlets near the bed at all. The furniture is old and damaged. The floor poorly cleaned, with bits of trash stuck in the carpet. Wi-Fi doesn’t exist, and the TV doesn’t work because of that, though oddly enough there are two remote controls in the room. Only one lightbulb works, so the room is very dark. There are no mosquito nets. If you open the windows, mosquitoes come flying in. So we spent the night with the windows shut, suffocating. The windows face some other buildings.

Very close to the city center.

Well it was small and the reviews were generally pretty bad and that made me very skeptical, however due to me being very skeptical it exceeded my expectations to a great extend.

Very cheap for the location, and it was clean.

The AC is an adapted one, but for the price of the place is ok.

    Good location.

Very small room. Floor only carpet and rugs, didn’t feel clean to walk without shoes. The staff kinda rude. The air conditioning doesn’t work in the room, you need to ask reception first and its the same temperature for everyone you can’t change it. We went to ask at night for air conditioning and the staff just told us to leave and ask in the morning when we got there at 7 pm?

The staff were lovely and they let us store our heavy bags there for free during our final day after checking out!

The room was a lot smaller than the pictures and it was extremely dusty and the carpets were stained. When we pulled up the top sheet the bed was very dirty and also the room door was very stiff and hard to open and close. It is also located quite far out from the main attractions and from the train station to the accommodation we ended up having to pay nearly €10 each on the ferry’s which didn’t feel worth it.
