This is an exceptional hotel, run by the fabulous Margherita. I was impressed by the fabulous staff, and the location. The breakfast offered many choices including traditional sweet cakes. One evening I dined at the restaurant which was also lovely, sitting alfresco. Sirmione is a magical place with local activities and cruises on the lake. The Sunset Cruise was relaxing and enjoyable, returning via the castle moat was amazing! Market day in Bandolini was a great experience with many bargains purchased and a light lunch on Lake Garda.

The owners and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful…. we were greeted every time like we were friends rather than this being our first stay. The hotel is very traditional in its style and design, so if you’re after a boutique hotel, then this is not the place for you. However, it is the perfect location at the tip Sirmione peninsula, with bars and restaurants in strolling distance in one direction and Jamaica Beach in the other. The owners pride about their place clearly showed through and I would definitely stay again. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels if needed. Breakfast was a buffet style with fresh croissant each morning. The roof top terrace was perfect for sunbathing and the icing on the cake would be a plunge pool for when temps soar!

for late arrivals the hotel ought to ask id cards fotos by mail in advance for check in they called us when we were driving and said it was an emergency to get the id cards immediatly

We had an excelent stay in Sirmione, at Margherita’s hotel. She was a great host, offering us information, help, recommendations. We loved the city and the location of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We had parking in the inner yard of the hotel, and it was a very interesting experience to drive with the car through the castle to get there. I recomand hotel Meridiana!

The place ticks all the boxes - lovely and quiet setting just between old town, beautiful park and a 5min walk to Jamaica beach - but what makes all that shine is really the staff. From the kind receptionist, engaged waitress and a funny cook, each interaction was a pleasure. I enjoyed our big bed, it was perfectly comfy, including the pillows and sheets. Quiet and non invasive aircon. Breakfast was very good and we appreciated having our car parked in front. Bit of an adventure to reach it, but worth it.

Great location at the tip of Sirmione. It is a family-owned hotel with very attentive and friendly staff and lots of character. You have to drive through the historical center, which is a restricted traffic area. So make sure you register your car and number plate at the hotel. The location is really ideal, a bit quieter with gardens all around and 5 min walking distance from the beaches or historical center.

Transportation. As an alternative to booking a taxi to arrive (we could not give a time as we were flying in from London) it should be noted that a regular taxi from a railway station would be permitted to enter the historic area.

Electrical socket in room to charge phone or iPad. A jacuzzi on the sun terrace to cool down in the 35 degree weather would have been ideal.

We were well catered for at breakfast including gluten free cereal and bread. Food was fresh and varied. Location was in easy walking distance to the beach or local shops. The room was more than adequate for size.

Only thing I can say I would have liked would have been a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities in room. Would have been nice to sit on baloney and enjoy rather than carry one fron restaurant downstairs.

Cristina at Reception was really helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. Parking was arranged for us as my daughter is disabled and she made sure we were all happy and informed. Breakfast was superb. Bar staff were excellent and the hotel has a very welcoming feel.
