But the parking situation is a serious problem. In front of the apartment, there are only a few paid street spots, which are almost always occupied. The host suggested we use the covered garage across the street, Fratti Duc Parking. This is something I would strongly warn against – do not park there under any circumstances. Especially not as a tourist. Break-ins and thefts happen here on a shockingly regular basis. Just read the online reviews. On the very first day of our holiday, items were stolen from our car. The cars parked next to us and opposite us had their windows smashed and were also broken into. At night there are a lot off suspicious people hanging around in the area drinking an using drugs. This has nothing to do with the apartment or the host – who was great – but it’s something I wish I had known beforehand. So please take this as a warning: it will save you from starting your holiday with stress, loss, and damage.

The apartment itself is neat and has everything you need for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights. The host was very friendly and gave us clear instructions – nothing to complain about there.

The room was spotless and looked exactly like the pictures. It was very comfortable, with a well-functioning AC, and conveniently located near the city center. The owner kindly allowed us to check in early, so we could explore the city without worrying about our luggage.

The lights on the hall turn off we are standing there, and that is super annoying. There’s also stairs to get to the elevator, also annoying but common in Italy.

When you put the full address (provided by booking.com) into Google maps it will take you to a bar so just use a portion of the first line. The pillow smelt a bit damp. It would have been nice to have small milk pots for the coffee. The walls are thin.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a shared area with a coffee machine available, which was a nice touch. Access to the apartment was fully automated via a code, making everything very easy. Communication with the host was smooth and quick, and the building also has an elevator, which was very convenient.

Not a complaint maybe more of a tip the bedside lights could be dimmer or warmer as very bright for anyone needing to use the bathroom in the night without waking the other person or just wanting a cosy night light

Antonio was always in contact and made sure anything we needed was on hand. The room was clean and well appointed with plenty of hanging space and a usable desk. Hands down one of the best showers I've been in anywhere I've travelled. Bed was firm but that's how I like them. Added bonus loved not having to mess around with keys.

While the breakfast and drink options were appreciated, it would have been more convenient if the electronic kettle and coffee machine were in the room instead of the public area.

The accommodation in Parma had an excellent location, close to both the train station and the city center. It was very clean and offered an easy check-in and check-out process, with all doors operated via a keypad. The place was well-heated and provided all the necessities someone might need, including a bottle of water and shower gel. A nice bonus was the breakfast items like croissants, rusk bread, marmalade, Nutella, coffee, and tea.

There was quite a lot of traffic noise during the night from the road near the building. Other than that everything was great.

Antonio was super kind and accommodating. The room was very clean, modern and spacious. The location was very close to the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

One area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection- it was unstable.

Was not told about Tourist tax in advance. I've no issue paying the tourist tax (legal requirement) but I was only informed during check out that it was payable in cash only which was inconvenient.

Lack of free parking lot.

I like the bathroom, very clean. The room was nice, with a good size. Very natural light. Available coffee, croissants, toasts, Nutella, waters, juice, etc.
