How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewLocation is OK - town itself looks mostly friendly, other than the train station, I would keep away from it. Has a parking in front, the neighborhood looks safe to leave a car there. Room is fine, have enough space, has a pretty big fridge and free snacks (for the breakfast). Check-in experience is fine, everything was easy to find.
Water in the morning before the flight was barely warm, too cold to take a shower. No soundproofing, you will hear absolutely everything that happens in the common breakfast room. Fridge is too noisy, you're better turning it off for the night (we didn't do it and had a pretty bad sleep).

We're not sure why you found the shower water lukewarm, considering the apartment is new and we've never had any complaints like that. Regarding the noise from the breakfast room, we'd like to know how it was possible to hear it: your room was the farest from the breakfast room and there are two doors separating the two rooms. Verified reviewOur stay at this apartment was absolutely amazing! The place is beautifully designed with great attention to detail – it felt like a luxury hotel and a cozy home at the same time. Everything was spotless, fresh, and welcoming. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and sunny balcony were definite highlights. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone – we’ll definitely come back at the first opportunity!

Breakfast options are somewhat limited
Hello Miguel many thanks for your feedback that has been really appreciated. For the breakfast, we always use to offer at MCFLYROOMS: milk, soya or vegetal milk, tea, ice tea, coffee, orzo coffee, chocolate powder, juices, water, sparkling water, cereals, yogurt, cookies, dry bread, crackers, croissants, Nutella, jam, ham and most of the time fresh fruit. Maybe for "limited" I suppose that you mean that unfortunately you didn't find some eggs...but unfortunately we don't have a proper kitchen to serve and cook fresh eggs. But I think that our "complimentary breakfast " for a quick start is quite varied and you can start the day quite satisfied. Verified reviewOur family fell in love with this property. After two weeks of travelling with four tweens/teens, this was the perfect place to land for our exhausted family of six. Valerio thought of every possible detail to make certain that his guests feel both comfortable and spoiled! :) The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the beds were the most comfortable beds we had ever slept in while visiting Europe. A beautiful bottle of wine awaited us upon our arrival as well as baskets of goodies and breakfast items. In addition, Valerio (aka: best host ever!) made certain that we had a ride to and from the airport. He made our visit so stress free!

Verified reviewThe place looks super nice, its perfectly clean and provides all the things one can need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast partially became our dinner by the way :)) The host is really attentive and caring, grazie Valerio! :) We were fortunate to see the whole place and our room decorated for the Halloween, our 9 y.o. was super happy and wanted to stay there for the rest of our trip. Luckily i've booked McFly Rooms for a night for our return trip too, so we will be back soon! :)

Just let me remind you that we sent a lot of messages to you using the official channel (booking.com) and also via whatsapp tombe sure that everything was fine with you but you never replied. I want also to remind you that documents must be show every time whenever you do a check in (Hotels, Airbnb, Hostals ecs ecs) because the registration is mandatory by law to the local authorities. But anyways, we do appreciate every single comment and we do work hard to grow every day. Last but not least: our walls are all soundsproof. If you wish to come back in the future you are most welcome again 🤗 Wish you all the best.
