If you need an additional bed, warning they are small with no box spring. Too small for most adults so verify bed size to avoid any issues.

Great location, walkable to all key sights, even the train station with luggage if necessary! Comfortable beds, easy contactless entry, fridge and kitchen amenities were helpful. Super soft towels, a rarity in European hotels. Highly recommended!

Everything. AMAZING place. I was super happy with my choice. The room was very elegant, stylish and foremost really cozy. Easy self check in, good location, incredibly comfortable bed and “cloudy” covers (I’m not even joking, the cover was super fluffy). Thankfully the bathroom was equipped with a stronger hairdryer (my hair is big and long) which made it way easier for me. I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Mavi. ❤️ don’t hesitate just book it for your trip. ❤️

There is nothing we didn’t love, let alone like!

If I lived in Siena, this would be my home. Everything about this place is excellent. Not only does it have everything that is needed, everything is if the highest quality, impeccably chosen and in perfect order. The decoration is immaculate, very stylish with period furniture of a quality almost never seen in a rental apartment. This is the perfect apartment to visit the wonderful city of Siena. It’s excellent location within the city adds to the delight of the place itself.

There was a shared cupboard in the hall which had a kettle /cups and saucers/wine glasses. But no plates or tumblers which would have been handy.

Everything was great, nothing to not like.

Our stay in Matera was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, responsive to our emails about parking and booking our walking tour. The room was beautiful as was the plentiful breakfast. Highly recommended stay in a unique location.

I would have liked more tips on how to get to Casa Mavi from the central train station in the listing or post booking.

Casa Mavi is in a wonderful location for accessing all the main parts of Siena and almost everything noteworthy for tourists is about a 10 - 15 minute walk or less. The location felt extremely safe and the room was very comfortable, if a little small and old fashioned. The price was acceptable and the host was responsive, helpful and kind.

Amazing and so so clean! It goes above and beyond in hospitality! Perfect cleanliness, location, facilities, kindness ect. The bed is comfortable, shower and amenities are great, the whole room feels brand new and all furnished luxuriously. I highly recommend it to anyone and would stay here again! Finding the location and checking in is so easy too.

Location is excellent. I stayed in the Barberesco room and it was absolutely lovely! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved exploring Siena so much and was so comfortable at Casa Mavi, I extended my stay for one more day. Casa Mavi is ideally situated close to the center. I liked my room and felt very comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable for me. The host was very helpful and was available to answer my questions. I will definitely stay there again.

All was very very good!, except the view from our room, it was less or more like a skylight

The room was warm!, very clean!, the bed was the best of all that we stayed, the bed sheets clean and new , the bath good, we also find a bootle of wine as a welcome drink, thank you!, the check in high teck.

The locks are ok as long as you have Wi-fi , but if you don’t it is impossible to get in.

Nice location the room was very small and no place to sit and relax other then on the bed. The bathroom was narrow and tight to move around. It would have been nice to have a bar fridge. The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. The bed was quite comfortable. That being said we spent most of our time out exploring this amazing city of Siena
