A tiny suggestion would be to put a fan in some of the deep long rooms. There is air conditioning but some air movement over the bed would reduce a sense of stuffiness on hot still nights.

After a week of travelling we were looking to stay in a place with a garden and pool. Urban Masseria delivered that need with charm and hospitality. The hosts were exceptional in their service and friendly advice. The daily breakfasts under the oak tree were divine and after a day of sight seeing it was nice to retreat to their oasis. Parking was easy and we found it a useful base to venture out to do day visits around the local area.

We had an incredible stay at Mastro Vanni and wished we could stay longer! From the moment we arrived, we felt the absolute peace and magic of this place. The cottage is wonderful, the hosts helpful, available and charming, the breakfast delicious. Everything is perfectly clean and comfortable. Thank you so much! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sicily. We already want to come back.

The flat was quite a way outside of Ragusa, more than we had expected and you need a car to get around

Davide is a great host who provides information on what to do in Ragusa and other locations around the charming accommodation. He is helpful and very nice so you feel ready to relax as soon as you arrive. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything you need (kitchen well equipped). The ‚social room‘ provides a space to read, eat or meet people and contains a little snack corner with a coffee machine to enjoy a good espresso at any time. However, the best thing is the amazing breakfast that was freshly prepared by Davide every morning to start the day with energy. Thanks again!

Very relaxing, very quiet, lovely spacious little apartment with kitchen and bathroom and dining area and truly excellent bed and linen. Our location was very private, at the rear of the courtyard, though the entire property is secluded within walls. A social room with easy chairs and coffee/tea making facility is on one edge of the lovely courtyard, with a path to the well appointed pool area outside. Davide was the perfect host and welcomed us personally, helping us to settle in and offering advice in regard to local travel, shopping etc. It is well situated for visits to old Ragusa, Modica and Noto, as well as for a relaxing day at the Marina.

Wonderful Masseria. Host caring and professional. Amenities were as expected, breakfast under the mulberry tree was a wonderful way to start the day, We would return to Sicily to simply enjoy staying at Mastro Vanni.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this accommodation! The location was perfect, allowing easy exploration of Ragusa and its nearby attractions. The tranquility of the area made it a serene and relaxing spot. While a car is recommended, the spacious and comfortably cool rooms made it well worth it. The inviting atmosphere, coupled with a generously sized swimming pool, created the ideal getaway. The host's impeccable attention to cleanliness and thoughtful gestures, like fresh fruits from their garden, made the experience incredibly welcoming. Davide THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤️

The location is quiet, peaceful and perfectly placed for visiting Ragusa, Modica and the coast. Our rooms were beautifully furnished - just like a five star hotel. The pool is fantastic and, despite it being peak season, we had it pretty much to ourselves. Most important of all, Davide is a great host - friendly, laid back and very helpful with suggestions of where to go.

The location is perfect! It’s a nice quiet place but only a +/- 20 minute drive to Ragusa and Modica and a 30 minute drive to Scicli (a very nice recommendation from Davide!) Also, the pool is nice, the appartments are spacious and Davide is a great host and makes the best breakfasts! All in all, we would 10/10 recommend this place!

Our whole stay was amazing! The place is very nice, clean and comfortable and extremely well located if you are planning to visit the surrounding area. Ragusa Ibla was the highlight of our trip in the area but also Modica and Scicli are worth visiting. Davide was extremely kind and helpful and provided us with great recommendations. Sottosale restaurant in Marina di Ragusa serves one of the best pizzas we ever had ! Highly recommend staying at the Masseria and for sure will return. Oh and forgot to mention the best part of our stay, the extremely comfortable beds! Grazie Davide 🙏

The shower pressure could be stronger in the showers.

The host was extremely kind and made all the difference in our stay ! The facilities are tastefully decorated and everything is clean.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept very clean and our host. It was very accommodating.

Davide was an amazing host. Our only complaint is that the air didn’t blow very cool in the bed was a little hard for our bodies.
