They do have lots of drivers to take you where you want to go but you would otherwise need a car .

We discovered this hotel by chance because our flight from Brindisi was cancelled . It is exceptionally beautiful situated within an olive plantation . It has a beautiful pool - the rooms are gorgeous , tasteful and really stunning . I would be quite likely to book a room there if I wanted to get away from it all . The staff are exceptional - going out of their way to make your stay as easy as possible . I was actually blown away by their kindness, professionalism and help in a situation which was thrown upon us ( flight cancelled at midnight).

The pool area was very crowded but it had nice pool beds.

Staff was amazing. They prepared a lovely early breakfast bag for me and gave me lovely tips for the city. Lovely food and the rooms were nice and clean.

the steak i had on arrival could have been better prepared

Breakfast was great, scrambled eggs included, offered in a very elegant glass-walled hall, looking on a very green all-around scenery. Deborah was very attentive and helpful. The Masseria is situated outside Mesagne on a very large property very well taken care of. there is also a huge swimming pool and a very pleasant staff.

Nothing, absolutely nothing..... maybe the Internet at the pool as the Social media login system to the free wifi was not working, but you know what, with views like this place has... you don't need Internet

The entrance to the Masseria was heavenly, lined with beautiful olive groves and peach trees, it felt like I was driving up fantasy lane! Upon arrival the staff welcomed us and showed us to the room, it was immaculate, honestly you could eat off the floor it was so clean, the decor was excellent, all amenities you can think off were available, the beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was great! You step outside the room and the pool greets you with otherworldly blue hue set against a vivid green background, the garden/farm is very well kept, I don't think I've ever seen grass so green in my life 😍 I would definitely stay here again, matter in fact, I'm going to start planning my next trip back here i loved it so much. The hotel restaurant had a small menu but excellent food with all ingredients I believe were from the farm, so couldn't get any fresher, over all I would say 10/10

I stayed at the Masseria Elysium for the second time and I would return again. I appreciate the entire set-up, cleaness, rooms and furniture, decoration and beautiful landscape of the Masseria. The restaurant prepares very delicious dishes and offers excellent wines. All is facilitated by very friendly staff.

The room was smaller than I was expecting but imagine the size was given at the time of booking. The curtain was falling off the rail. Not a big deal but just looked untidy We were told that a wedding was taking place at 11.00 one morning so we decided we ought to leave the premises and not lie by the pool. When we came back nothing was happening. They had been mistaken . There was however a wedding reception at night. Very noisy with music naturally but luckily we were in a room a distance away. Walls are paper thin.

Really beautiful place set in gorgeous grounds with lovely pool area. Room and bathroom clean with a comfortable bed. Loved the proximity to Mesagne l Breakfast was pleasant. We noticed others having an omelette but eggs weren’t offered to us. No orange juice with the other juices but we were brought really nice freshly squeezed orange when we asked

We had broken glass in our shower. My partner had glass stuck in her foot after showering. We told the staff and they said they'd take care of it. Afterwards there was still glass in the shower (less than before, but still quite some glassshards). In the evening we went to the restaurant. Only one vegetarian option. After trying to communicate with the waitress (which wasnt possible as she only talked Italian, which we didn't) they sent the chef who at least made my partner something vegeterian as a starter, so we could both eat a starter. Half an hour into dining, a private party for a big group of people started with a host that would announce things incredibly loud through some speakers. My partner and i had to flee because we couldnt hear eachother anymore. The staff offered us a complementary bottle of wine for the trouble, which we never got.....

Amazing swimming pool, the people working there were friendly. The spa was nice as well.

Food standard was good and pricey for what you got ( swordfish pasta was tasteless and chewy) rooms very hot air con not very strong and too far out of town/village min 10 min drive you would need a car taxis expensive

Dinner was a big disappointment. Restaurant staff is not very friendly. Restaurant area is very noisy.

Unfortunately during our stay, the Masseria hosted a few events during the nights which went on past midnight with fireworks going off. Our room was by the pool so very close to the noise. While you can expect events to be held, we would not expect them to be so late and loud and we were not warned by the host.

The pool is amazing with floating sun beds where you can enjoy peace and quiet of the Masseria.
