Same for the most beautiful beaches of Salento: both Ionian coast and Adriatic coast can be reached in 20-40 mins drive. Marilena and Carmine are the creators of this paradise and thank to them you can feel at home, taste the delicious foods of the South of Italy, breathe the kindness and honesty of true human relationships. If you stay at Masseria Cortese, you cannot miss the romantic dinner in the inner courtyard, where you will be delighted by the sweetness of Marilena and the preparations of Carmine with local products.

It was an Oasis of pure joy & calm surrounded by nature. The attention to detail was second to none. The owners were accommodating & extremely courteous & nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious & most of the products were homemade.

Amazing stay! Curated in every detail and the hosts make sure you are perfectly taken care of in every moment. We even got a flat tire and they helped us to replace it and recommended a tire dealer of trust nearby. The meals were all made from local produce and presented with love and care. We will definitely go back during the summer to enjoy the amazing pool as well!

I didn't like that our stay was so short, one night, we would have liked to have had time to enjoy the beautiful property, especially the pool.

The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice including delicious bread, home made preserves and yogurt. The owners were also very accommodating with our late arrival which we really appreciated.

Lovely setting with comfortable and elegant rooms. Host Marielena and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was great. They offer additionnal food options and their light lunch was delicious. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing property you have to go and experience the luxury and sophistication yet simplicity of this beautiful hotel. The host are amazing there is nothing they would not do. We stayed in the Tulli hut spectacular. The pool was great the other rooms for our daughter were experimental. Close to town . Would recommend this stunning place to any one

Our hearts are overflowing from the warmth and love we felt from Marilena and Carmine and their lovely masseria. We spent two wonderful nights and days there and wish we booked more, since it felt not enough to take in the style and relaxation we experienced in their hotel. Not only are all rooms and facilities very nicely decorated with the great class of Marilena, they have been magnificently built by Carmine himself. Both continue to put that same passion (or even more) in making sure their guests have the best time. Together they put their hearts and souls into the hotel, which you feel in every detail, from the homemade jams and very tasty pasticciotti for breakfast, to the stylish pool area with especially designed pool towels and four-course-diners they prepare from food from their own garden or the community surrounding them. What we really liked, was that they really try to built the rooms and whole guest experience with the highest respect for the original history and nature of the place. Our shower for instance was built in a sort of “cave” under one of the trullo’s roofs, making it a remarkable bathroom experience in a piece of history. The only advice we can give you is to let your worries fade away when Marilena’s voice welcomes you at the front gate and let her and her husband’s love for their masseria inspire you. We wish that you enjoy your time there as much as we did, since they made us feel as we were in a home away from home.

The entire property was beautiful and quiet, just the perfect place if you’re looking for a little paradise! The owner was so kind and friendly and me and my partner felt very welcomed. We really enjoyed our stay here!
