We loved everything

Don’t think twice, just book it! Masseria is just perfect in every aspect. It’s a beautifully restored old building with traditional trulli. The room had everything we needed, fully equipped small kitchen, fridge, very comfortable bed, nice terrace with a view to Locorotondo. On top of that Masseria Aprile is run by a family and you can tell it has this unique atmosphere. Fabio is extremely helpful and showed us around the property, his wife Stefania prepares the most delicious breakfasts with local produce. They run a small vineyard so you can buy their wine but also their olive oil. Masseria is located just outside of Locorotondo (20 min walk).

Beds and pillows could be more comfortable to match the overall value the stay provides.

A marvelous location. Cosy, clean spacious and comfortable facilities. With friendly hosts and an overall superb view. Make sure you book some time in the jacuzzi as it is worth it after a day of sightseeing, and enjoy the exceptional breakfast with local, homemade and delicious options. Very good cost benefit and I would absolutely recommend it.

Nothing- it was a fantastic stay

We had a beautiful stay at Agriturismo Masseria Aprile! It felt unique to stay in a trullo and the accommodation was spotless and cleaned daily. The breakfasts were fabulous, with lots of fresh produce and homemade cakes to set us up for the day. We really enjoyed spending time at the property enjoying the garden, the trail walk and even making use of the honesty bar on a rainy rainy evening! Hosts were fantastic- very friendly and approachable. We arrived by foot and made use of the train to visit Alberobello for the day. Overall a lovely, relaxing stay which we’d highly recommend!

Nothing. The gardens are beautiful with the jacuzzi but we weren’t told how to use it, which would have been useful as it was very hot during our visit. Not a criticism though as we could have asked.

Great trulli experience, everything we were expecting it to be. Hosts very friendly and the location was great for a visit to the area. The breakfast was plentiful and lovely to speak to the hosts about all the baked goods they make….delicious 😀

We absolutely loved our stay here, so peaceful and in a stunning location. The breakfast was one of the very best we have had, with different selections each day. We liked it all

This is a brilliant property in every aspect. The rooms are authentic,spacious and beautifully clean and fitted out to the highest standard. The bed was so comfortable. The hosts are the best I have encountered. Anna, Stefanie and Fabio were so welcoming and produced the most amazing offerings for breakfast every day. The property is located 1.5 kms to Locorotondo central and is situated in farmland inclusive of gardens, olive trees and vineyards. And then there’s the donkeys and chickens. A wonderful experience had by the four of us. 5 Stars!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. The family hosting us was incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfasts were truly amazing — delicious, fresh, and with a wide variety to choose from every morning. The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy our holiday. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The only thing that could have been better is if we could have stayed longer. 5 nights wasn't enough.

We loved everything about our stay at Masseria Aprile. Anna, Fabio and Stefania welcomed us like family and kept us laughing and smiling from start to finish. They happily helped us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Our mornings began with a breakfast that rivals the finest restaurants. Highlights including the locally made ricotta, farm fresh eggs, produce harvested on the property or from the surrounding area, and homemade breakfast pastries, including a gluten-free torta di mele that Anna made because my companion and I are gluten-free! We met the donkeys on a morning stroll of the property, we enjoyed the wine in the honesty bar at night, and in between we adventured to places including Matera, Lecce, Alberobello, Bari and Polignano a Mare. It was a vacation to remember.

The "Honesty Bar" concept was great, giving us the freedom to serve ourselves. However, we did notice a camera mounted on the wall, which gave us pause. While we understand the need for security, it might be worth reconsidering the name of the "Honesty Bar" if the camera is necessary, as it somewhat contradicted the concept. They emphasized the importance of having a set check-in time, and if you're unsure, it's something to consider in advance. One suggestion for improvement would be to have some hands-on agricultural activities that guests could participate in or observe. It would add an extra layer of immersion and connection to the villa’s local offerings.

We had a delightful stay at the villa. Staff was trying their best to satisfying you from your stay. The room was spotless and beautiful, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. I highly recommend this villa, especially for active guests and families with children. The breakfast was exceptional, prepared using local ingredients, and it was clear they take pride in offering quality food. They also sell some of their own products, which we found interesting and convenient. The bar was another highlight of our visit. We really enjoyed the selection of wines available.

The stay was wonderful in every way. The owners were warm and accommodating . The suite was exceptional with every comfort and such marvelous taste in decoration . No detail was forgotten . Breakfast was lovely , fresh , served in a wonderful room full of windows looking out on the grounds . Overall, it was a delightful stay. We would love to return some day .

The trulli accommodations, the superb breakfasts and the friendly hospitality of the Aprile family. Although this is an Agriturismo with fields, donkeys and a country atmosphere, it was walking distance to Locorotondo.

The large family owned farm is sitting on a beautiful landscape. I can see Locorotondo from my window. A place suitable for a wedding or honeymoon. Wonderful host family and exceptional home made fresh breakfast.

Rare experience to stay in an actual Trulli and a farm/vineyard. Great location and few mins drive to Town. The 2 lovely ladies prepared home-made breakfast with fresh produce everyday and it’s a sumptuous spread.

The Location, the view to Locorontondo from the breakfast room, the breakfast spread, that all the produce was so fresh, the room was comfortable and the family very friendly and hospitable. Also the bonus honesty bar/room.
