Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumThe smell. My room number 102 smelled very badly: probably a chemical product used for cleaning/disinfect. I had to keep my window open each evening for at least one hour not to get poisoned. I told the managers but nothing was done. They proposed to change the room, but it would not have solved the problem of the smell…because the cleaning ladies used it regularly.
The location, the parking, the breakfast. Bed was comfortable.

United KingdomThese weren't major problems and it states this in the description. The English of the staff is minimal, as is my Italian. I managed to get by for 12 days. If you find stairs very difficult, try and get a ground floor room. There isn't a lift, so if stairs are difficult don't forget that. I do find stairs difficult, but this was only a problem carrying my suitcase upstairs on arrival and back down on departure. It states in the description that there isn't a lift. There's a ground floor and first floor only. There's a flight of stairs, a dog leg, 2 stairs another dog leg and a shorter flight of stairs.
Super position to get to Florence and the hotel is in excellent condition and must be reasonably new? To get into Florence you need # 26 bus to Resistenza and then #11 tram to Santa Maria Novella. 1€ 70 cents A taxi would probably cost about 18/20.00 €. Both of these services are pretty frequent. Caveat emptor...try to avoid busy times of the day, unless you don't mind being a sardine!!! Don't expect children sitting down to offer you their seat. They won't. They don't respect age or sex! Continental breakfast is excellent and plentiful. This is replenished frequently Great to be away from the noise and hustle bustle of Florence and thousands of tourists. I've been in May, June, October and November and it's always busy. Room facilities fine...unless you need a safe. There isn't one. It didn't bother me however. The room was cleaned very thoroughly every day and fresh towels provided. Excellent air-conditioning if you want it. I've been to Florence 5 times and 3 of those times I stayed in central hotels. Frankly, I would stay in this hotel again next time .

BelgiumThe hotel has a private parking. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is located ca 2 km from parking Villa Constanza, where you can take tram T1 to the centre (trainstation) of Florence in 10-15 minutes. There is a trattoria (Antiche Torri) across the street, but it's better to make a reservation, because it is a busy place, even during the week.

IndiaThe location is in Scandicci which is a little far from the main Florence city (although it is close to the Villa Costanza bus stop). There was a bus stop just next to the hotel. However, it was a little far from the tram line which is required to travel to the main city. Also, no electric kettle and cup in the room. Otherwise things were good.
The room was good, clean comfortable with a nice clean and spacious bathroom. The staff were very friendly. We also took breakfast, which was very delicious. Other facilities such as the internet connection, were satisfactory. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Florence.

JordanThe mattress was a bit un comfortable, but it was okay. Honestly I'm sure if I told the staff they would've changed it because they're very responsive. There're no late check-in hours unfortunately and it's not flexible.
The room was very comfortable, cleaned daily and the staff was very sweet and friendly. The location is very nice for someone who doesn't want to be close to traffic but still would like to visit the city center: It's nearby some nice restaurants with reasonable prices as well good gelato place on foot, tobaco shop (which you need to buy transport tickets as well), tram and bus stations towards the city center, also near supermarkets and nice bakeries. Check-in and Check-out was very easy and quick.

ItalyThe room was very cute and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was really nice and stylish, I loved the shower which was huge! the receptionist told us we could have everything that was in the minibar for free, I appreciated it a lot and I found it to be a really kind thought. There was also a quite big TV, but we didn't have the chance to try that one.

BrazilNothing. Loved everything!
The property is well maintained with a nice garden and nice spaces for smokers and nonsmokers. You have everything you would need close to the Hotel Marzia like bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants. You also have parking spots if you’re driving a car. With cheap tickets that you can purchase in a nearby store, you can go to the historical center of Florence, spend the whole day walking as a tourist, come back at night and have a good sleep in a very clean and cozy room. If you wake up at the right time, you’ll be offered a nice breakfast with good coffee options and good enough food!
