If I had to mention a slight negative, it would probably be that the breakfast arrangement could be improved a little bit. Everything else was perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at La Petite Maison. Our room was so spacious and felt both homely and luxury-like for a very affordable price. Sara was also extremely helpful and was always available on WhatsApp to answer all our queries. There was also plenty of room in the common areas both indoors and in the garden where a nice breakfast can be enjoyed. I highly recommend this place!

The breakfast was quite limited, and although the garden was a nice area to eat in, there was a smell from the drains each day.

We had room 8, which had a very good private terrace overlooking the garden. The location was easy to reach on the number T2 tram from the station. There were plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. There was a good supermarket just round the corner

Location is very good; walking distance to Florence attractions but in really quiet place. The room is quite big and very clean. The breakfast was good enough, but adding more fruits will be beneficial.

Heat and bed

The little dining area inside and outside was really nice. The breakfast was good with fruit, yogurt, meat,cheese, yummy croissants and pastries and of course coffee. The owners and staff were very nice. Our complaint was that we were on the top floor and our a/c unit didn’t work and it was so hot and humid. They did come and fix it but several hours of dealing with the heat after walking all day in the heat everyone was cranky. Also the big bed was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. But the heat situation was what was difficult thing. We did like the rest and the people.

The breakfast was basic. We were in room 2 which is next to the breakfast room. When it opens at 8am we were woken by people getting breakfast, the coffee machine and general noise

Good communication with the host, easy clear check in instructions. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, around 20-30 minute to walk into the centre. There is a shaded terrace / garden area. The room was clean and was cleaned and tidied daily. There are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room but there is the use of a shared kitchen.

The cornetti at breakfast were sometimes a bit dry and hard to eat but otherwise the breakfast was great and this accommodation was great too :)

It was fun staying in a room that had traditional Italian external shutters. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The location was peaceful and quiet and not too far from the city (we walked into the city most days but you can also easily take the nearby tram). Breakfast was included. There was a nice outdoor patio space if you wanted to eat breakfast outside.

- room 2 (not soundproof at all) which we had was adjacent to the breakfast room and every morning we were woken up by people talking, making coffee and eating at 8am. With the hour difference it was very early for us especially being on holiday.

It was so lovely and charming. Parking on the street was no problem. I would definitely stay there again. Our problem is our suitcases were extremely heavy and we were on the top floor. I will pack lighter next time.
