Other guests were saving sun beds for many hours during the day (against pool rules) so others were unable to make use of them. It’s worth noting there were a lot of babies and children of all ages around the pool which sometimes made it hard to relax and unwind.

Location, balcony, breakfast and pool were great!! Staff were always friendly and helpful and helped to make it a truly enjoyable stay.

The hotel is perfectly located between the beach and the town - both a short walk away. Every member of staff was friendly and so helpful. The hotel itself is lovely, set in beautiful gardens.

A beautiful and tranquil setting. The garden set up around the pool is really lovely. We came with our 1 year old, and the surroundings were perfect, with the beach a 5 minute walk. Lunch is lovely on the terrace, as is breakfast and the staff paid special attention to our daughter who had an allergy. I’d also say restaurants locally are really nice, friendly and were accommodative. Our room was perfect really, a seperate bedroom for our child, and a nice balcony for us to chill out.

Wifi was very weak within our room. But outside and around the rest of the property grounds it was sufficient.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. With well manicured grounds, tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Very good location with one beach within walking distance. To town it was either a 25-30 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this property.

My fiancé could hear upstairs shower and people moving around as we were on ground floor. I must admit, this wasn’t a big issue for me, and it wasn’t very loud..

Hotel Mariposas was like a dream. Incredible scenery with the garden and pool view. The room was very comfortable and we loved sitting on our balcony. An easy walk to the beach, and a short drive to Porto Giunco beach! Also a short 10 minute walk into the main city which was great for dinner in the evenings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel bar as well. The breakfast was delicious! We will most definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very beautiful, well-maintained, and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It also had outdoor seating, which was great for enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Coffee and tea were provided in the room, and there was also a refrigerator and a mini bar in case we wanted to buy anything. The breakfast was very good, with fresh food and lots of options to choose from. The staff were helpful and always attentive to anything we needed. The location is good, just a short walk to the beach and also to the main street with many bars and restaurants. The summer shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel. We were also given our room early since it was already ready, and after checkout, we were allowed to stay and enjoy the pool area, which even has toilet/shower facilities.

Lovely and peaceful location - 5/10 min walk to beach in one direction and same distance to Villasimius town where good selection of shops and restaurants. Staff very welcoming & helpful.
