I loved Marina Blu Rooms. I was traveling solo and this room was the perfect size and had everything plus some. It is very updated, has a great balcony and is located it a great location. I felt very safe and the view is gorgeous

Simple accommodation with everything you need. Location was excellent as it is very close to marina, centre, restaurants. Be careful when choosing the accommodation in this area, the whole town is situated on pretty steep hill. Marina Blu Rooms is has perfect location. The sea view/marina view from our balcony was awesome. Clean rooms and communal areas. This accommodation is very well looked after.

There were few places to hang clothes around the room

Lovely place with a view of the marina and a place to go for the perfect Italian breakfast. Close to restaurants, bars etc and Umberto was a lovely, helpful host. The mini fridge was a real treat for those hot days. We really enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen facilities could be a bit more (a little stove, some basic food stuff such as oil, vinegar, etc.). It can be very loud - there were festivals or so at our travel time and people partied until the morning time, which made our sleeps a bit restless, but that’s probably a problem in the whole town.

Great Apartments with balcony. We were a family of four and had two rooms, we felt as if we had the house for ourselves which we enjoyed very much. You can reach the port and all the main streets of the town very easily. There was free coffee at the shared kitchen. Some parking spots for free can be found up the hill.

One night of loud live music till after midnight from a bar at the top of the steps; other nights were quiet. Earplugs made it okay and not an issue unless you're a light sleeper/go to be early! Hasn't stopped us giving this excellent accommodation full marks.

Really nice apartment, very well equipped and in a great location. All the recommendations for restaurants and beaches were really good. We had a fantastic stay and Castellammare is a perfect location from which to explore the area - we hired a scooter and went to San Capo lo Capo (crowded beach horror; didn't stay long), Riserva Zingaro, Segesta temple and a free hot spring (near the one you pay for).

It's not a negative comment but maybe an idea for improvement - there is only one power plug in the room (difficult if not you want to charge two phones at the same time). It would be better if there was at least a power strip. All in all nothing to complain about :)

Absolutely amazing and friendly hosts, they gave us some tips on where to go, where to eat etc. All good recommendations. Apartment very clean, amazing location very close to the port and beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast (one salty or sweet snack and a coffee/tee/juice) included, it's not much but a nice touch to start your day and the snacks were always very fresh and delicious! We stayed 4 nights and were very happy with the choice. If needed, they change towels during your stay. Apartment has a common area- a small kitchen to make a coffee (Nespresso machine) or reheat some food in microwave. There is also a common terrace with a nice view towards the sea. Room was not big but enough for a couple of days, it has a private bathroom, fridge and balcony with a view. Place very clean and pleasurable to stay! Walking distance everywhere.

The place is clean and nice, it has all the necessary stuff. The location is perfect, right in the center, few steps from all restaurants and bars. The owner is very nice person and helpful, he gave us a lot of recommendations about what to visit and where to eat, he responded very quickly to our messages and gave us all the information about parking areas. I highly recommend this place.

The toilet Seat slides back and forth. Needs fixed. Terrible small in the bathroom. Needed to buy air freshner. Also refrierator does not get cold.

The room was way too small for 2 people being at the same time in it, with almost no space to move around. That would have been fine if the bed would have been comfortable, but instead of a double bed, there were 2 single beds, which moved apart when sleeping. I strongly believe that this room should not be advertised as a double room because it is way too small and uncomfortable for 2 people.

The location and the view from the balcony and terrace were exceptional, the host was really helpful, answered all of our questions, made useful recommendations. The room was really close to the center and harbour, from this point of view, it was perfect.

False advertisement, it was not what we thought it would be. It is a box of a room with no space to move, you couldn’t even swing a cat. The pictures makes it look like it’s an apartment but it is a tiny singular room. When we tried to explain this to the host, he got extremely defensive which made us feel very uncomfortable /unsafe to stay there. He wouldn’t provide us with relocation after stating it wasn’t what was advertised. I would never in a million years recommend this ‘room’ *not an apartment, not even a hotel*…. My bedroom in London is even bigger than this box. It’s ok for students or backpackers on a very limited budget if they are willing to make do but please be super aware - THIS IS NOT AN APARTMENT which it looks like in the pictures

On the other hand the location makes the apartment quite loud till 1-2 am on weekend (midnight on weekdays) and parking your car is super difficult if you arrive late or during weekend. The apartment was tidy, but we had some ants shwoing up regularly if we left some opened food/drink on the open. But the biggest disappointment was that the apartment (we rented apt for 4 people) has only 2 small windows that need to be closed at all times as they are on ground level and can be easily access by any bywalkers. The sea view is available only from the top floor which you can use if you like. The owners are not speaking English at all, but the check in is contactless (via Whatsapp)

The apartment is located in the very center of Castellammare which has its pros and cons. It's close to the marina, restaruant and main promenade, so you need 2-3 minute walk to get to the best places in town. The apartment is spacious and well equipped - everything we needed was there (including Nespresso machine). The apartment standard is quite fine, can't complain here.
