Great location – perfect for those who want to experience the traditional local life of Bari. The staff were very helpful. Not only did we receive lots of great tips for sightseeing in Bari and the surrounding area, but also excellent restaurant recommendations. Because of our late flight, Marè Rooms helped us continue exploring by keeping our luggage until the evening. We really appreciate it – thank you! 😊

The location is great,right in the heart of Bari’s old town and also close to the sea, which made everything very convenient. The apartment is cute and well-equipped with everything you might need, like an iron, refrigerator, coffee machine, hairdryer, and more. The person who welcomed us was very kind and always ready to answer any questions. She even gave us a map with the most important places to visit in the city, along with restaurant recommendations. We really appreciated the warm welcome and helpful tips!

Not much space for luggage and your personal belongings and only one chair. However we were there only one night so it was fine.

Good location of the room in the old town and near the public car park too and only 5 mins walk from basilica of st Nicolas Comfortable bed and specious bathroom. Nice little balcony .

The walls tend to crumble (the mortar) which falls on the floor. (A sealer could stop that problem.) It causes the floor to have sand/mortar on it. We were constantly cleaning our feet and swept twice in 4 nights. Maybe that happens in all of Old Town, I don’t know. For such a cute room, this was the only problem.

Great location in Bari Old Town. We enjoyably got lost in the labyrinth of streets and pathways. Fun area to explore. Near lots of cafes and ice cream shops, and churches. The room was nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious. We also liked being only 1 mile from a really nice beach. Pare e Pomodoro?

Our room was not part of the featured Mare accommodation but about 50m away and the room was not fearured on their site . (We did have an issue with the function of the front and only door and were locked in for a while. Luckily this was fixed very quickly from the outside but as the back window had bars on it if there had been for example a fire, we had no second exit. Maybe something to consider.)

It was a good room, had all we needed and had fabulous character. Great spot on the edge of the old town and close to the ring road for paid parking.

they have no elevators so if you heavy luggage be prepared to lift some weights on the narrow stairs. tv was not connected to anything as well as fridge was kind of decoration and was not producing any cold.

old Bari center is quite specific place so you should be prepared to be very close to other buildings and flats, however the design is good and you can clearly get the feeling of old days Italian city

The owner was very friendly, warm and supportive. The room was decorated with lots of taste and love to small details. The location was perfectly right in the Center and 3 minutes walking distance to the Cathedral of San Nicola and right in the heart of the old town. I can really recommend the accomodation to anybody. Have a pleasant stay :).

The bed was very unstable and the mattress very soft. The shower jet was very weak and the coffee was not refilled.

The location and communication with the host was excellent. The view from the balcony was nice.

Cleanliness of the room. The bedding was not clean. A lot of dust present particularly on shelves, frames and the star fish attatched to the bed! Photos of room were also a bit misleading. Lack of water pressure and temperamental water temperature - it was either scalding hot or ice cold. Damp smell throughout.

To start the bed mattress went down to 40cm and discovered it was broken from the bottom. Aircondition of heating did not heat at all. Hot water took ages to come out. Linen smelled off and lost its color white. Fire alarm sensor on door was disconnected. Electrical wires could be seen coming out from fan on top of bed. Rooftop was in a terrible state like a junk yard. Overall would never expect to receive guest this way. Also city tax was 4 euros but asked for 5 euros not a problem but overall was a terrible experience

Great location, the room on the ground floor was really nice and of course if you decide to stay in such a location, expect that it is an old building with a great atmosphere, in my opinion it was clean and nice interior (many complained about the ground floor but there is another building, which is probably under renovation). So if you want to feel the magic of the old city and go back in time a little, I highly recommend it, and it's safe. The bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the building or a walk to the main train station is a pleasant 15-20 minutes.
