How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was brilliant!
Modern apartment, fantastic location for station and other facilities. Exceptional. The cleaner deserves a special mention .... the apartment was immaculately clean and was done every single day to the same high standard. I'd definitely stay here again. 10/10!

Unable to lock my door as the battery was low. I would have preferred using a key from a keystore.
Location was great and I was contacted in advance with all the relevant information I needed

Watch out for the location if coming from the airport. On booking.com it says that it's 100m away from Rome CIA airport when in actual fact it's 5 km and the main road runs all the way around from the arrivals entrance. If arriving late in the evening, a 40 euro taxi from the airport or an uber is your only option. Booking.com should make this bit very clear as the taxi was almost as much as the accommodation.
The owner was very helpful. Instructions with how to check in were straight to the point. Shops, cafes and restaurants and literally on the doorstep. Room was superb.

It was really amazing place! near is a railway station and also bus station (from Ciampino bus goes directly to this location). Everything is near, the staff is amazing, home was clean and was everything- hair dryer, towels, shampoo, coffee, tea, coffee maker and e.t.c.If you go in Ciampino airport i recommend to stay one night or more in this house ❤️

Would have like a china mug for my tea/coffee!
Great choice if like me flying in late & leaving early. Better than going into Rome. Great value for money. Spotless and new. Easy comms with owner, access all sorted without meeting. Cheap eats & food stores right there, and train station. Also building has a lift.

This place was fantastic, very close to the airport and to the train station. It was clean, had a lovely balcony too! The bed was extremely comfortable. However the owner has made a huge difference as he has been extremely supportive and helpful, he gave us loads of suggestions and recommendations. I highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be coming here!

The location is 2 minute walk from the train station, 10 mins in taxi to the airport. The room was very modern and clean everything that you need for your stay including hairdryer and coffee machine. There is local supermarket accross the road that is deceivingly bigger than expected. The host was exceptional, providing all the information we needed for our stay including where local to eat and ordered a taxi for early pick up for airport, which was prompt at 4.15am. Fabulous!! Would recommend

Nothing bad to say, a small improvement would be to have a mirror above the table in the main room rather than just in the bathroom.
Amazing location right opposite the train station. Fab communication and help from the owners.

Was amazing! I had everything that I need for my stay. Good location, a really nice bedroom and bathroom size. Also you can find everything that you need around the apartment. I only had a problem with my password, but Mauro helped me promptly.

I cannot fault it for anything.
Fantastic setup. All more or less automated for access. The location is excellent for ESRIN, just a short 5 mins away by train. The room was excellent. Very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this accommodation.
