You can hear noise from other apartments.

It was spacious and very close to the ferry and bus stop. Anna, the host met us at the bus stop, which is right in front of the apartment and helped us carry our luggage to the room.

The bed was a little hard for our liking. Wish there was a washer & dryer.

The location is fantastic. The place was very clean. Anna is a pleasure to deal with and responds very quickly. The parking spot was great to have.

Could be noisy as can hear people and TV in surrounding flats and the noise of water flushing . It didn't bother us that much. It would have been good to have some basic washing up supplies as it's hard to find anywhere to buy these things in the small town. There are limited and expensive food shopping options if you don't have a car.

Brilliant location close to ferry and train station. Fantastic host. Anna was very responsive and helpful and a joy to engage with. She waited for us in the rain to check us in. The place was very clean. Sofa bed was very comfortable. Plenty of sockets. Amazing views over the lake and set back from the road so not too much road noise.

The owner met us at the property and brought us into the apartment. She is a wonderful host, answering all of our questions! The apartment is very comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful time!

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Varenna. It was modern, clean and had great AC. The bed was also super comfy. It was situated in the perfect location that was central to all the action while still being quiet. The free parking was also a plus!!

We loved everything about the unit, spacious, great a/c, great little outside rear patio, great view to water, able to open windows for nice breeze, full kitchen - fridge to store drinks and leftovers to reheat. Perfect location short walk down from train stop. easy enough to get back up for train or train restaurant. So easy to cross road to waterfront / restaurants/ stroll along waterfront / ferry. great communication and questions answered by just Anna. She has a private driver, Andrea who is available and reliable as taxis were hard to come by. Perfect for family of 4 (2 adults / 2 kids) have to go through master bedroom to get to bathroom.

My only complaint was that the window covering on the bedroom window was sheer, so there was no way to block out the morning sunshine. The window was protected from view by a small walled patio, so privacy wasn't the issue, just the daylight!

Spacious apartment with a fabulous location, easily walkable to the ferry terminal and train station. On the main street through Varenna just back from the water, but with a view. Lots of space, working kitchen and good value per night for pricey Lake Como. Hosts left a nice goody basket with snacks, some bottle water and a surprisingly decent bottle of Prosecco which we really enjoyed!

Anna is a great host who welcomed us and showed us everything in the apartment. She also had a lovely bottle of bubbles for us, snacks and coffee! Beautiful view from the living room and close walking distance to everything. Comfortable apartment for family of 4 with the girls sharing the sofa bed. Only thing is the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom We loved our stay in Varenna. Highly recommended. Thanks Anna!

Everything was great!

Breakfast not provided. The location was great, with a view of the lake. One block off the water and the ferry dock and train station. Coffee shops across the street and the Square and lake front restaurants a 15 minute walk.

Hugeeeee apartment in the middle of Varenna (but away from the tourists) you’re so close to everything, and everything you need is in the apartment — it’s the best.

A map to apartment would have helped. We overshot the building as we didn’t see the street name anywhere. We had arrived by bus because of a detour and were not sure where the train station was. The photos were very helpful once we realized we had to backtrack. Upstairs (hard to tell where exactly) neighbors were noisy late at night but they may have been renting as well.

Location was terrific for visiting local restaurants and the ferry dock. Small market on the corner. Anna was great informing us of a detour necessary for the train arrival. She also checked in via the website with us to make sure all was well and if we needed anything. Lovely basket of some breakfast items. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups etc. lots of storage in bedroom. Large bathroom, good shower, nice towels, and big sink with shelving to put our toiletries on. She provided little soap samples. Nice view out the living room window of the lake. There was city information in the apartment for us. I would recommend the area. Not as congested with tourists as some of the others and a quick hop on a ferry to visit other cities. You can purchase a mid-lake day pass and get on and off the ferry as much as you want . Purchase tickets early as the line gets long later in the morning.

Location was super. Little extras were great such as bathroom and kitchen supplies. Very nice to find a bottle of Spumante for us in the fridge. Very close by mini mart had all the self catering items we needed. Relaxing view across to the lake and could open all the windows on the lake side to enjoy beautiful fresh air. Short walk to the train station.

The location is very close to the pier and Varenna is easy to get a ferry to cross to other villages. Room is so big and clean, nice view. Host is so nice, she always gave us many useful informations and met us upon check in to hand the key, room orientation and explain around the area. Varenna is a perfect place to stay, just like a dream village. Me and my friends had a wonderful time here.
