How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The walls are paper-thin, which means that you can hear EVERYTHING. The other guests were very loud, usually until very late at night (ca. 3 AM), which was exhausting. There are also no proper wardrobes and my room was quite small, so getting ready in the morning and evening was a bit of a hurdle race.
Overall, it was fine. The room was clean, the bathroom was nice. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge, which is very handy. The accommodation is right by the metro station and very close to tram and bus lines.

thin walls, creaky floors, you can hear every step one take in the hallway at night. lack of remote control to air condition -despite reporting the lack of a remote control on the first day, they did not bring it for the entire week

The floor is an old hardwood floor, which is really nice, but also quite loud on the night time and in the morning. Could be annoying for light sleepers.
Nice and clean place, that has a common area with small kitchen that is very useful to have a quick breakfast for example. Although there are enough caffè around to have breakfast outside.

The public kitchen is in front of the entrance door and a bit of bad smell can be detected inside the room and also the noisy floor covering
Consider this maison as a place to stay the night, although you should be very careful with walking in the room as the floor is super-noisy. The facilities provided in the room like the mini-kitchen and the mini-fridge are really good if you stay for some days, otherwise they wont be useful a lot.

Awful service. Never text back for support on Booking.com. Asked for WiFi help and never communicated back. The WiFi is extremely hard to enter in correctly even though it’s on the backboard. What’s the point of making it that difficult for customers.

It’s perfect location specially for if you wanna travel to the centre. Bus stop are just 2-3 minutes walk.

In the bed were the bed bugs, I sent a video to rhe administrator, I couldt stay there any night. It was imposible to sleep with those animals walking in the bed, I ask for my money back, unyil now I dont received any answer

Very nice place and very easy access to the metro. It’s a very solid spot to post up at if you are travel ring around Turino. The coffee shop to the left of the hostel is a great place with very nice owners. Shoutout the AC

I got stuck for almost 30 minutes because their online check-in process on a dated website was not straightforward. They manually provided the code, but the door sometimes wouldn’t open. You can hear everyone next door talking and doing other things because the entire first floor is wooden and creaks whenever someone walks in the hallway or their room. The creaking sounds as if someone is walking in your room, which scared me at night. You have to tiptoe at night because every single step is heard, leaving no privacy. I was there in late May when Turin is very hot and humid, and the room didn’t have air conditioning, which is crazy given the price I paid per night. I asked if they could provide a fan since I couldn’t bear the heat and wouldn’t be able to sleep. They couldn’t provide one because they handle everything online, so I had to walk 2 km to buy a fan myself. They said they’d refund the cost, but it's now mid-June and I still haven’t received it.
Nothing. Literally and I am not exaggerating.
