Location, no breakfast

Price/quality is good. The room is really nice. It’s not really a B&B but a part of apartment in a resident building. Pity no breakfast was provided. Fabio and son Jacopo are great and help you with advice on transport. Location is behind the Vatican. The main reason to take a room here is price. In Belgium or Germany this room would be considered as overpriced but staying a night in Rome is always overpriced. All in all I would recommend if money matters to you 🙂

Road noise and sirens from the traffic outside. Seemed like there was an ambulance every 10 minutes. Not a big deal but it is noticeable. No milk or cream in the kitchen.

Bed was very comfortable. Host was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Fresh towels every day. Super clean. Transportation right outside the door, bus or taxi. Wide selection of free tea and coffee.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Rome. Fabio, our host, was exceptionally nice and attentive to our every need, making our experience even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was sparkling clean and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is also very convenient, with a bus station right in front of the apartment, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this location. We will definitely be coming back for sure!

The only problem was the night traffic from the nearby busy street.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was admirable. The advantage was a well-equipped kitchen, great accessibility to local transport (ATAC), proximity to Vatican and location without tourist traffic.

Nothing could have been improved!

Fabio and Francesca are wonderful. They made us feel at home straight away, they were so helpful giving us recommendations etc. The room was clean and spacious.

Our room shared a wall with the car wash on the outside of the building. It wasn’t on at night but it did wake us up a couple of the mornings we were there. Just something to be aware of if you are not necessarily early risers.

Compared to the rooms you get at hotels this was like a suite! The room was a nice size and it was very convenient to have coffee available in the shared kitchen space. Our hosts were excellent as well! Easy to communicate with and provided us with all of the information we needed for getting around the city.

The suite was so cute and perfect for me and my friend. Large enough that we never felt on top of each while we got ready. They privacy shutters kept out the light for when we had a late night exploring Rome too. Fabio and Francesca met us there and explained EVERYTHING we needed to know to get around Rome and where to eat. They were the best!!

Fabio and Francesca were very helpful and nice! The location was ideal for our trip to the Vatican. It’s about a 30-35 minute walk or a shorter taxi ride. Fabio met with us at check-in and gave us some helpful tips to enjoy our time in Rome.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. The only thing is it’s a bit far from the centre but the bus stop and metro was close so not much of an issue.

Loved the property, Fabio and Francesca were wonderful hosts nothing was too much trouble for them so helpful and friendly. The property was so clean I am messy went out the first day all my clothes were folded and hung up it wowed me actually. The room was spotless. I would deffo recommend this property to stay at.

This is a beautiful property. There are three bedrooms at the property. We were a family of four and had two of the three rooms, these were both spacious and the ensuite bathrooms were lovely. Our rooms were beautiful, very clean and comfortable and with everything we could want. There is use of a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The walk into Rome is straightforward but takes about 25 minutes. The nearest metro station is about 15 minutes walk away. We found that the best way to travel was by bus [if you want to buy bus tickets in cash you need to go to a tabachi (similar to a newsagent in Britain or a tabac in France), there is one a few minutes walk away from Magnolia St Peters. You can also pay for your bus fares with your phone on the bus itself.]. The buses were frequent and easy to use. The breakfast is served by a cafe just next door to the apartments. Breakfast consisted of a pastry (delicious) and a hot drink and orange juice. On two of the three days we were also offered a sandwich which could be toasted or taken away.

I have stayed at Magnolia several times now, and are always met by the wonderful and helpful staff that always go beyond my expectations. Location is excellent with bus service outside to most tourist locations. The bed is so comfortable, and all available kitchen appliances all clean and modern. The bathroom was very clean with a oversized shower, unusual for Italy.

Fabio and Francesca are extremely polite and nice, they explained everything regarding the city and public transportation. The room was cleaned every day, bed perfectly made and towels changed. We stayed for 4 nights and we loved it! We hope to be able to book this accomodation again when we come back to Rome again. Shared space of the kitchen is also very beautiful and perfectly clean. We felt at home in their place and we are so happy we discovered it. Public transportation is very near and it is super convenient to come to any part of the city.

I felt bad about flooding the bathroom from the shower.

Everything about this property was great .Fabio and Francesca were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was so relaxing that made me feel home. We felt very comfortable and the location was good, buses very regular but we only used the subway that is about 10-12 mins walk. Would definitely return.
