How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was perfect. Kind staff, room confortable with everything needed, location next to central train station. Loved the detail of the cold sparking water with lemon welcoming you st the check in :)

Family rooms are on the ground floor & ours (12) faced what looked like a garage/construction site, so we didn't want to open the windows (dirt & safety), nor did we want to open the curtains (privacy), so it felt like a windowless room, which was unfortunate. However, we only needed the room to sleep in for one night so it was OK. Wouldn't have wanted to stay in that room longer. Ask for a room on a higher floor.
It's very convenient as it's close to the central train station, which is why we booked it,. The room was clean & beds were comfortable, plus the bathroom was good. The room was a good size (& liked the large closet to store our luggage). The staff was friendly.

I was a little bit early checking into the hotel, but as soon as I arrived at the reception desk, I was met with wonderful staff who allowed me to check in before the time, as my room was ready. All the staff were incredibly helpful. My room was great, perfectly sized for a solo traveller, and had great amenities! Would definitely stay here again as it was within walking distance to the main station and safe area.

We stayed 2x3 nights (splitting the holiday to travel to Switzerland via Bernina Express), 2 part of stay, small double room next to late night/early morning noises. Would have liked an option to eat evening meal there.
Close to all public transport & next to central station to travel to/from airport & other destinations. Very helpful staff & could speak English. Let us leave some luggage at no additional cost whilst we were away for 2 nights in between our stay.

The bed wasn't confortable at all, it felt like it was very old and partially broken.
Very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. The renovation is now completed and the hotel looks very good!

The room was comfortable, great location near the train station (however we were recommended to not go to the train station at nighttime it can be very dangerous). There was an egg chair on the balcony so cool!!! Comfy bed and amazing shower.

We had bring our luggages down 2 steps to get to our room. But it was still manageable. The water kettle was a bit small, a bigger one will be better.
Location was very good, close to the Milan Central station where we arrived from Florence & the central FS metro where we could hopped anywhere. There were also many food places around the vicinity.

The price could have been better but we are aware we went for the last weekend of the design week
Paid just one night as we were leaving Milano super early the next day and it actually exceeded my expectations the rooms are modern and they were able to give us our room before normal check in time, which was very nice to have our luggage and everything set up before heading out to our day trip, highly recommend it if you are looking to stay close to Centrale

The room was quite small and hot but we made it work for us.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating! We enjoyed the breakfast too. Many thanks to all for our pleasant stay.
